There's an S-Class on the chopping block right now, Car 60, a High Speed Pursuit FCSD model. It's got 23 minutes left, as of this moment, with an opening bid of 90,000.

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
Georgia's troopers have a great design that looks good on Chargers, so I'm definitely going to do one of those. The NYPD scheme is coming along nicely - I'm trying to get it much more exact than anything else I've seen on the chopping block. I'd also like to do one of the states that do brown paint schemes, like Wyoming's pretty brown-and-yellow. Virginia used to do a nice silver with blue stripes, and Maryland uses a Three black-and-whites in a row makes me want to change things up a bit, you know? Either way, I'd really love to have some sort of tool for adding honest-to-goodness 3D bits onto the car, so that I'm not really cheating on the light bars, and I'd have some feasible way of doing a push bar on the front end, too - that way, they'd be instantly recognizable as cruisers even without the classic black-and-white scheme. Anyway, I'll hopefully end up with a cruiser for all fifty states sooner or later. These three designs I worked up rather quickly because I originally did them a while back in Forza 1, but I'm new to Forza 2 and XBox Live, so the idea of selling them on the open market is just fascinating to me. I almost don't even care about the pricing, as long as it covers the cost of the car itself, because frankly, I'd be making cars like this even without the incentive of in-game cash, just as I did on Forza 1. But as long as XBox Live is giving me a good place to distribute them, then everyone should have at least one cruiser on there for good old-fashioned hot-pursuit fun. Now, if only we could have a Ford Crown Vic for DLC...

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
Barricade is done! "to punish and enslave..." This is a lot more complex than my other cars - the Decepticon Academy badge alone has more layers in it than the entire Charger. Only a few compromises set this car apart from the Barricade in the movie. First, it's a Mustang GT instead of a Saleen - the only Saleen Mustang in Forza is the wrong year and body style, so I decided to go with the newer Mustang instead. Also, I can't put vinyls on the spoiler, so the "POLICE" logo that's supposed to be across the spoiler is on the trunk lid instead. Also, because it's a Mustang GT and not the Saleen, the GT badge on the rear is right where the license plate is supposed to go, so I put the plate a little lower onto the rear fascia instead. It's tuned with the same performance package as my CHiP 'Stang, so it's plenty fast, at S868. I have one on the auction block right now (24 hour featured auction) starting at 150,000. Funds are low, so I can only afford to make one right now. Expect a few more if this one earns me enough to buy more parts.

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
I can take care of your money problems. If you can get me the Texas and Oklahoma State Trooper cars done I will give you 350,000 each for them if they are spot on. I would also be interested in any states car after I get these.

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
Hey there man, could you send me a FR (its in my signature) so I can send you a Camaro over with some details you can put on the AH later for a good price.
Would prefer #84
PS : The "Buckle up, its the law" on the rear of the camaro would look better if place a little bit downwards, it layer shifts a bit :)

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
ShyGuy: The base charger (FPD style) is 30,000. I'll be on XBLive later this evening (Eastern time), and we can arrange a time so I can put it up on the auction block just for you. Like cop cars ought to be - well-done, but cheap! Let me know if you want a specific number and/or license plate, otherwise it'll be a random number that I haven't used yet and "COP CAR." Gnermo: You're right about the "Buckle Up" line. I'll get that fixed before the next one goes on the block - they're all sold out right now. (The lights on the front have been bugging me, too. Is it just me, or do identical shapes with identical sizes and identical places look like they're in a completely different place when the color changes from blue to red?) If you're looking for a base model #84, I can have that on the auction block this evening when I can get back to my XBox - the fully tuned one might take a little longer for me to do some racing, or if you'd prefer to tune your own, I can put a hot-pursuit skin on a base model and let you have it. While there's lots of cars - even cop cars - going for big money in the AH, I'd rather keep these cheap enough for even first-time buyers to pick up, just a little more than the base cars themselves, so it's still 30,000. mcrmy92: I've seen some masterfully done Texas cruisers in Forza 2 already, but no Oklahoma yet, so I might start there after I get that Georgia cruiser done tonight. Either way, like I said, over the next few weeks, I'll be trying to complete state trooper vehicles for all fifty states, and maybe a few counties and city police departments as I think of them or by request. Some are easier than others, so maybe on a good night - and since Forza 2 lets me save the more common elements as vinyl groups to be used on any car, which is a slick feature, btw - I could be able to complete two or three. Barricade went a whole lot slower because I wanted the Decepticon logo done right for... well, I don't know what for yet, but you can bet that I'll find a reason to use it on something! I'll continue posting them on this thread as I complete them, so that as soon as one comes up that you want, I can be sure to have one up on the AH for you.

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
Darque:Hi all, and thanks for the welcome to the forums. I currently have three different police models on the auction block. Each comes in a basic, stock configuration as well as a high-speed pursuit model, with plenty of modifications and tuned to take down speeders and badging signifying its "Hot Pursuit" designation. The PI (Performance Index) for Hot Pursuit models is in the high 800s, making them low-end S-class cars, but with only a few modest changes, they could easily go into U999, high S class, or high A Class. Every police car I sell has a unique squad car number affixed to the doors, roof, or fenders, as appropriate for each livery. No two are alike! First, the Forza Police Department 2006 Dodge Charger:
The Forza County Sheriff's Department 2002 Camaro SS: And, based on a real-world police livery, this is a 2005 Ford Mustang GT done with the California Highway Patrol livery: I have the price for a base-model, unmodified police cruiser (of any of these three types) start auctioning at $30,000 (and usually go for around $50,000). The only visible differences between the base model and the Hot Pursuit models shown here are the "Hot Pursuit" or "High Speed Pursuit" designation on the door or hood, and, of course, the aerodynamic and/or body upgrades. Hot Pursuit models start at $90,000 (and usually go for around $120,000). If there are any specific numbers or license plates you would like on your cruiser, let me know, and I'll add them for you. Special orders like these only slightly increase the modest cost: $40,000 for a base model, $100,000 even for a Hot Pursuit model. I'll be expanding my lineup to include more and more real-life liveries from around the country - and, perhaps, the world. My next projects are an NYPD Charger, a Virginia State Police Corvette, and Barricade from "Transformers: The Movie." If there are any other police vehicles that you would like to see, drop me a line - I love these things!
Ill take all three:) and can you make a massachusetts state police car and also a boston police car?and can you sell the state police unlocked (ill pay more)as imma add the plate(if its ok)

Re: Cop cars, get your fresh hot cop cars!
Oh, I see, I see - you want the skin on an already existing Camaro SS. Blame parenthood - sometimes I'm quick on the shot but slow on the draw after a night of whining and not wanting to go to bed and "One more bedtime story!" I'm not entirely sure how I can charge you for a skin on your own car - what, send it to me, and then I can put it in the AH for a buy-out price? My gamertag is Darque1137. I'm still away from home right now, but I should be back somewhere in the 6:00 range so that we can discuss how you'd like this done. A Dutch flag, eh? That's easy enough - no problem. OperatorTX13: Yeah, I figured sooner or later I'd have to do a Tokyo Police Skyline. Once I've gotten at least the most basic styles of designs around the US, I'll probably do a Tokyo PD Skyline or - what do they drive around there? Civics? Whatever. That, plus a British Mini, an Autobahn Patrol BMW, maybe even a Korean Army Spirra. Exilestate: Glad to hear it! The Camaro SS was one of the cars that I spent a LOT of time perfecting in Forza 1, so I was glad that the tuning basically carried over unchanged. I didn't even play on XBL with my XBox, just system link and split screen at special events, but it always held up well against competition. Enjoy! If I can remember to send out PMs about specific cars, I'll try - but, like I said up above, parenthood does funny things with your memory. You can always check in this thread for my latest police designs. Shane2006UK: It looks like all my auctions that I left on the AH last night got bought out - I'm amazed by how fast these things sell! But I'm committed to making sure that they stay cheap so that even newbies can have some police fun. The ones I had on AH last night were all base-model cruisers but one. Barricade isn't going to be quite as cheap as the cruisers, because... well, because Decepticons are too cool for that. I was amazed: I set an opening bid at 150,000, and a buyout at 300,000, sure that I would have to drop it to 100,000... and it was bought for 300,000! So now that I have some funding, I can do some Hot Pursuit models, too. I'm still planning on tackling that Georgia cruiser tonight, but before I do that, I'll be sure to put at least one each of the HP and base model cruisers up for sale, and if I can pull together a little bit more cash, at least one more Barricade. I can turn them over fast, too, so as soon as I sell one type, I'll try to be sure that another goes on the block again. I seem to have the most success so far with this pricing scheme for the cruisers: Base model: 30,000 opening bid, 50,000 buyout Hot Pursuit model: 90,000 opening bid, 120,000 buyout And, I guess I'll stick with Barricade at 150,000 opening bid, 300,000 buyout. Sound about right to you guys?
