[Negative Camber] B700 Ford Focus ST "Test Track Terror"

    [Negative Camber] B700 Ford Focus ST "Test Track Terror"

    Goes on Sale Friday (2/15) $320/325k buyout!

     

    Wasted Muppet & Cankre7 will be helping get these to Market!

     

    Hanging out at the Negative Camber Tuning Garage has its benefits…  I was standing next to a table that had a few photo negatives on it… and being the sneaky guy I am I quickly stuffed them in my pocket for a later viewing…  Rumor has it that the team has been doing some runs at the Test Tracks both regular and reverse and have been putting down some really fast times in B Class…  Mostly top 200 or less and the rumor is in a Focus ST.

     

    As you know the Negative Camber Tuning boys really pride themselves on building non-leader board cars.  Some of you may remember a Focus being released by NCT before as a Motegi Road Course contender (Top 100 times recorded). 

     

    Well rumor has it that this is an all new tune for all the Test Tracks…  Here’s a few of the negatives I was able to grab…  I’m sure the NCT Boys will have release information soon.

     

    Negatives replaced with real photos!

    Original

    Black Mamba - 1:48.510 254th

    Boomslang - 29.099 220th

    Death Adder - 40.680 182nd

    Diamondback - 1:09.129 227th

    Russels Viper - 38.864 156th

    Copperhead - 49.739 207th

     

    Reversed

    Boomslang - 28.838 239th

    Death Adder - 40.437 217th

    Diamondback - 1:08.201 192nd

    Inland Taipan - 1:05.112 166th

    Russels Viper - 38.992 234th

     

    Just playing around to see where else this tune is good at...  I set my PB's at the following

    Tsukuba Short - 42.703 337th

    Suzuka East - 50.919 348th 

     

    This car is very competitive in online racing on the test tracks with this tune.  As mentioned before this car does have the same parts as my original focus so the tunes can be shared across both cars...

     

    These will go on sale starting Friday (2/15/08) and the price will be $320/325k buyout.

    Nice X Hot Wheels X!

    Bought both of ur previous Hot Wheels designs, one with the rally design, maybe u still remember. Im really interested in this focus, and is the setup gonna be better then the previous one? Hope so.

    Hey the way you said that sounds bad and I know you said that the OG Focus was you favorite car!  This tune will be awesome on the short tracks and will probably run good on the Tsukuba Tracks...  I gotta try those again!

    I'll let the cat out...  I'm working on final paint...  All the decals will be custom...  No Paint Shop Contingent Decals on this one...  And may tweak the number plate.  Hoping to release this next week sometime!

    Well I must say I got my finished product of this car the other day, and McLOVIN IT!!!!! (just saw Superbad yesterday).  For giggles I took the Terror off the test track and nearly beat a few of my personal bests in a lap or 2, oh and in the process crushed the competition.  On one one of the Test Tracks I threw up a top 150 time, Boomslang Reverse I think.

    Look for a video featuring this car soon...Hot Wheels, any music suggestions for the vid?

    I like the paint Hot Wheels, very clean looking.

    Just an FYI though, we finished a tune last week on the G-Tuned Focus and when the paint is done we're going to release this as well... also in B700 trim.  Maybe we can have a friendly 3rd party drive our cars for a little side competition =P 

    Our Focus is a little out of the norm though since we only use 1st-3rd gear.

    atleast 5 (I have these built already) and as many as 10...  Probably around 6:00pm EST.

    Same model Focus ST or the US version...  Anyway would love to check yours out...  I'm game the competition...  This is specifically tuned for the Test Tracks but we (NCT) have tunes for other tracks too!
