Step One:
-Find the car you would like to use, I used the 2006 Subaru Impreza S204 but any car can be used as long as you can paint it.
-Paint the car in a normal colour not metallic, I used white. This is because you have to cover up some parts of the car and you can't use metallic coloured vinyls.
Step Two:
-Now go to the vinyl editor and then to Hood/Top/Trunk.
-Press "A" and Choose "Apply a Vinyl Shape". Press "A" to Choose the first shape which is a square and make it black.
-Now press the "Right Trigger" once to get so the size changer. Use the "D-Pad" and make the size X: 0.01 Y: 5.0.
-Press the "Left Trigger" to get back to the Move editor. Now press "Y" to stamp the layer and get a line. Then press left 8 times on the "D-pad" and then press "Y" again. Keep on doing this untill you get the same result as the picture below. Then press "A" to apply.

Step Three:
The Hard Way:
-Now go back to layer 1 of 1000 on "Hood/Top/Trunk" and press and hold the "Left Analog Stick" and press and hold "A". Now you can release the "Left Analog Stick" but keep the "A" pressed.
-Now with the "A" pressed press up on the "D-Pad" and realese all buttons.
-All the layers should be marked with orange now. Select any of the marked layers and choose any of the marked layers.
The Easy Way:
-Select any of the layers and choose "Highlight All Layers".
-Choose "Position Highlighted Layers" and use the same stamp method as earlier except now you are stamping all your layers instead of one. To make the prosess faster you can apply after you've done it a few times and select "Highlight All Layers" again to control more layers at once.
-Keep on doing this to you have around 200+ layers depending on what you are going to carbonize. Since Im only doing the hood I used 250 layers. And it looked like this.

Step Four:
-Highlight all layers again and choose "Position Highlighted Layers".
-Now go to "Size" and make it "0.60".
-Then go to "Spin" and set it to "25.00"
-Now go to "Move" and move all the lines until they are only visible on the hood like this:

Step Five:
-Apply this by pressing "A" and go to the next layer and choose " Apply A Vinyl Shape".
-Depending on what car you are working on choose the layers that can cover up the lines outside the hood. When done it should look like this:

Step Six:
-Go back to where you painted the car and choose where you can paint the hood. Which colour you use depends on the effect you want. I used the darkest grey in metallic and this is how that turned out:

-This is one way of doing it, play around with different settings and find what fits your car.
-If you got any questions just post em here.
Good Luck-
