As a mater of fact you can quite easily. There are over 100 V8 powered Ford Focus' on the street right now. There are kits available which include an engine cradle, new suspension compoonents, etc, which lets you mount up pretty much any small block V8 on the market today. The onlt cutting required is a small section to accomodate some transmissions the removal of the spare tire well to make room for the rear axle and a fuel cell.
This is the Focus RS8, which has the cammer V8 in it that you can install in Forza 3.

I had planned on doing this swap with my own Focus, but I always end up needing my money for other things. The Focus comes with a drive tunnel which easily accepts a driveshaft. The swap can be done for very little money if you source your parts right and the kit is almost 100% bolt-on.
