ToolerThanTool:RE: EvilsClutch
I rest my case- The Monkey Lives!
So get in line, because there is a butt in front of you with your name on it, and by the way, I’m really sorry your world is flat.
I didn't make myself clear anough apparently. 1. You're a conpiracy nut. 2. Saying the world is flat is a jab at conspiracy nuts. 3. I'm upset at Turn10 as well, but I'm not an immature little punk know-it-all.. Conspiracy nut... Anyway, have fun smoking whatever you're smoking and believing the world is out to get you, because nothing is going to change because of people like you. I'm going to try a productive thread next time instead of a big bash Turn10 and Microsoft thread. I don't blame Turn10 for ignoring all of this.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
RE: EvilsClutch
Okay, bring it.
What’s your point? Are you saying that you’re simply smarter than me, or anyone else that doesn’t see it the way you do? And just what is a “Conpiracy Nut” anyway? Conspiracy has an ‘s’ in it. If you’re going to try and insult me, at least spell it right. I mean holy s**t, you actually thought I thought you thought the world is flat? That was a re-jab dimwit, stating that you refuse to look beyond your own needs, wants, and desires. That you don’t want to see anything that encroaches on you as a self, and when you do you just assault it. It’s almost sad that you are so far out of the loop, that you don’t even know there is a loop. You show your deficient abilities and true colors with your clumsy frontal attacks that lack of any strategy, finesse, or forethought.
I know this is all falling on deaf ears. Because you’re so fumed on your own gas, trapped as you are in your pathetic self empowering bubble, that anyone else’s perceptivity is simply alien to you. So just who is the “immature little punk know-it-all” here anyway? Can you be that naive, that you think there’s nobody out there coming up with better, and better ways to keep and maintain their power base. Control isn’t somebody putting a gun to your head. Control is when you don’t even know there is a gun to your head.
But THAT is in fact beside the point, because if you had actually taken the time to read my earlier post, you might have realized that I was talking about how after in point of fact admitting to people on this very post that they KNOW that Forza 2 is an unfixable POS, Microsoft decided to put it in their holiday bindles anyway to boost console sales. Now I don’t know how you want to look at it, and in fact I could care less. But in my book that makes them s**theads, and I can say that if I want to, and what’s it to you anyway? Who appointed you judge, jury, and executioner? Hmmm… let me guess- You did.
If you have something to say, and it has meaning and purpose, speak up man, Share what the world has shown you. Then allow people to make up their own minds about what you have to say. Because as soon as you step in with this strong-arm in your face BS, all you do is show yourself to be the little Nazi *** you are.
Smoke that.

1. Typos are not a good arguing point. 2. In number "3" I clearly typed "conspiracy." 3. You seem to be deeply disturbed in your views on "control." 4. You should get banned for calling me a Nazi. 5. Life's too short to waste time on junk like this. I'm done here. I've got a life to get back to.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
RE: EvilClutch
Well, let’s see if we can do it one, two, three for you. Since that seems to be just about as far as you can count (yes, I saw that you counted to five in the last one).
[1] Which brings us to my first counter-point. Pointing out that you misspelled a word, knowing full well that you spelled it properly in another section of your little diatribe was done to draw attention to the level of your conviction. That it was obviously something you just blurted out. Something like a dogs bark. Loud, annoying, and sometime even a little scary. If that is your afraid of dogs. Well, afraid of little dogs I mean.
[2] Thank you for your in depth analysis of my “control disorder”. Really, you’ve shown me the light. I will seek help immediately. Now if that sounded a little stupid, that’s because it was. You see, your statement is kind of like engaging someone in an argument, and having them just stand there telling you to shut up. That’s their argument- shut up! Well, maybe they throw in a- you’re stupid, every once and awhile just to really put you in your place.
I really just don’t get people like you. You jump into threads and act all that, then when somebody calls you on it you just retreat into your own little it makes sense to you world. Don’t you get it, you’re actually trying to just simply stay in control with nothing real to even stand on. You don’t hear, or read for that matter a single word anyone is saying, because you haven’t responded to one single issue that I’ve put forth here. You’ve just looked for escape hatches that let you finger point your way out, because you can’t face the fact that you might actually lose control. So I guess you’re right, I’m the one with issues.
[3] It’s a big world out there, so wake up. Everything we do is causality that spreads out from us into the world. Now people like you only cause little tiny ripples in the pond. But big company’s like Turn 10 cause pretty big splashes, and Godzilla sized company’s like Microsoft cause tidal waves when they make a move. It effects us, every one of us, because it pushes us forward into the future. So to make it as clear as I can to you, my issue isn’t a control issue, it’s a responsibility issue. But there’s no reason to go on with this, because I’m talking way above your pay grade.
RE: Everyone else.
I’d also like to take a moment and apologize to everyone else for how far this whole little wet works went, but he started it (just kidding). Because it’s become very apparent to me that for the most part this isn’t a sociology thread, it’s a I want to play my game thread, and since I’ve already taken a twenty pound sludge to my X 360 because I don’t want to be a party to Microsoft’s tidal wave on any level anymore, I’ll leave you to it (the packaging of Forza POS into Holiday bundles was the break for me).
I really hope the right kind of splash comes of everyone’s efforts here (that means you Big_o_xxx).
I’m out.
(Oh yeah, EvilsClutch. One last thing. If you want people to believe what you say- do what you say. When you say you’re out, stay out.)

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
great thread. Decided to get back into Forza 2 and fired up my xbox. Renewed xbox live account so I could play my mates only to run the forza update and now have a game which is useless. *sigh*
Same thing happened to mate who fired his copy up this afternoon and updated.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
The problem here is that they have sold and still are selling games.....now if this problem came about a few weeks after relase and the sales slowed, then they may have done something about it, yet they have ignored their customers for months with not even one reply....disgusting.
Just remember people....turn 10 and microsoft screwed us over....dont take any crap when the next release comes along and they start their usual hype machine.
Im one of thousands of people that will be waiting before buying anything Turn 10 does in the future.
They knew damn well about this fault yet the chose to release the game.....tut tut tut...
@ Turn 10 what goes around comes around.

agreed, all the guys I play with are going to do the same too.
We're not going to buy the next version until either Turn 10 come clean or it comes down in price. It's the principle of the matter and the only thing turn10 and microsh1te will listen to is reduced profits.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
Once again for some reason, I decided to insert Forza 2 into my machine. I managed to get an amazing few races before it locked up mid race, more than I usually get. Thanks turn 10.
Next time turn 10, you wont be getting my money, and I will do everything in my power to inform everyone I know about my experiences with Forza 2 and that you as a developer are unable to fix issues with your own software. How many do think will still be keen to purchase? Everyone on the board who has this issue should pledge to do the same.
Honestly turn 10, If you cant make forza 2 actually work why should I have any trust that your next game is going to work?

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
if your crashing mid race id say its more a CD rom problem.
If your crashing on garage car selection id say its not a CD rom problem.
I think this game has to load quite a lot of info into memory, specially when your pulling up the cards. I think theres prolly some poor coding thats causing it.
I periodically get lock ups sometimes like 3 in a row and then not for a few days. Its always when going through the garage. Everyone I speak to who plays the game says they get that.
Its a bit duff to be honest. But its not enough of a problem to stop me playing the game.
always nice though when the game designers acknoledge it.

I'm done here. I've got a life to get back to.
lol...& that life is over at Forzacentral aint it fella where you spend the rest of your time doing exactly what you're doing on here, putting people to rights if you feel someone if offending T10...life my backside. Christ man the game is a bug riddled mess & no-one is helping out so I dont see the problem in a few people who've forked out good money telling them what they think about the situation. You played any other games on the 360 recently that go *** up as frequently as this one?
...& Skate if no-one is gonna give any sort of feedback from T10 then it's gonna lead to people second guessing what the problem is. It's supposed to be a troubleshooting section so instead of having a pop at the guys in the dark why not try something constructive like asking someone like Che if anything is being done about a single problem on here as the natives are restless...i'm surprised you're not getting involved to be honest as you were always one of the 1st ones to join in with your superior technobabble over at Forzacentral whenever figures & theories where being flung about...so why not now mate?

jlachenal:
no problems here,
i had it in the beginning but i have polished my disc and now i don't have any troubles anymore.
maybe it helps if you clean/polish your disc.
Either that, or what I did was I bought an 'intercooler' that snaps on to the back of my 360 and pulls hot air out. Since I installed it 3 monts ago my game has frozen maybe 2 times, where it was freezing 4 or 5 times out of a half hour block of play time.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
Only had my brand new 360 back from MS a day and Forza is freezing up on me. Ws really worried it was going to mean a 360-less xmas but seeing as its not happening on other games and seeing as so many people are talking about the same issue it does look like something in the last update didnt agree with the game!!
Hope T10 can get this working, I LOVE Forza2, cant imagie my 360 library without it. Would hate to have to put it to one side coz of this.

You're not alone. My friends and I won't be buying Forza 3, despite this studio turning out the best racing game on 360.

Re: @ Turn 10, PLEASE address the freezing issue.
Is this game no longer supported? I can't play - freezing constantly. No cracks or scratches on disk. Xbox is not hot and I don't move it. It happens usually when I'm just starting a Multiplayer race. This is the only game that crashes for me - unfortunately it's the only game I bought my xbox for (wheel, too). I have a few other games but they suck. I paid $650 for Forza basically. Read that. $650. That's how much I paid for my xbox, ms wheel and forza 2 disk.
This just started after the last patch for me.

It would seem they don't care... not even a "we're aware of the problem and working on it" post. This is the most putrid customer service I've ever seen.
