Con they may still be looking into it, maybe they just haven't cught up on their e-mails yet either. I send an IM to one of them just now when I saw this post with a link to your post. Unfortunately, they won't get the IM until after the holiday weekend now. Sorry Con, it'll probably be middle of next week before you hear back now.

UPDATE - Saturday, March 22, 2008, 11:22 AM (GMT -3)

Now it has been a full week with a TAMPERED PROFILE and still no response from TURN10. I 've sent just 2 emails, the first last Saturday, March 15, and the second wednesday.

The good news is that I'm trying my new wheel (got one 10 days ago) and my girlfriend's career is almost done, due to my experiment :)

But I miss my profile, my Mercedes CLK GTR and the last achievement I was about to get - the 1 mil online credits.

If someone from TURN10 read this, I'M COUTING ON YOU, GUYS! DON'T LET ME DOWN (SAID JOHN LENNON!)

Got home last night from work and tried to get credits from auction house sale, and I get PROFILE TAMPERED WITH. - level 50 - 349 cars in garage - millions in credits - NOT HAPPY.

Sent email to Turn 10.

One of my friends said that if you switch from one gamer tag to another to quickly that this will happen, I hope that is all it is, I miss my tuned cars. :(

No idea why I got the message, just that I haven't tampered with anything.  I did recently buy a car with a fancy design (locked) on it, could that be it?  I also have problems as I use my nephew's XBox to play, and his profile is signed in automatically, so I have to go into the game with his account, then sign out, then sign in again with my profile.  If I changed to my profile before going into the game, then the auction wouldn't work....which it doesn't now anyway! 

This is very annoying, I can't believe they can't fix the problem, so players who haven't done anything wrong aren't treated this way!

I think I posted the wrong cars for sale in the AH and this morning I recieved this Warning message that my profile has been tampered with.

I have been looking over this thread but I must have missed who I need to contact to resolve this issue.

I am not attempting to defruad anyone on the AH, I am just trying to build a collection of painted cars for me and my daughter.  As it stands right now I cannot access the AH or gift a car, I just get the warning message.

Can someone please help me to resolve this matter?  Or at least direct me to who can help.

Edit - I was looking over the threads and I was also enjoying the problem of my XBox freezing up while scanning through my garage.  Could this be because I purchased duped cars?  It would also pause when I passed over the locked designs.

The "tampered profile" message and being banned from the Auction House are two separate and distinct things.  Check the Forza Motorsport 2 FAQ for details on both.  In the former case, there are exact items Turn 10 needs to fix your account.  In that latter, follow the directions if you haven't posted improper cars.

Once again, thank you for examining all problems with the needed attention. I hope you guys can figure it out what is going on concerning the tampered profiles.

About your email reply, I've just arrived home and hurry to the 360, but it is still tampered - as soon as I start FORZA, on the main screen (red with the green A button), as I press A to start, XBOX tells me my profile has been tampered and I should delete it.

I really don't want to start over, I did not save my tune settings, if I lose it all will be really a waste of time (I got forza on 2007 xmas).

As that old Alphaville song says, "Hoping for the best but expecting the worst"...

my profile is tampered...i put in forza and i went to start{at the main menu}and it said i have to delete my account and start over so i cant play forza at all....i sent a email to turn 10 a while ago but they havnt got back to me yet let me know whats up...by the way did i mension this sucks?lmao...

Profile was restored tonight and auction house working again! :)  I'd sold a car that I thought might have a duped one, that I'd bought on the auction house, and thought that had solved the problem, until I read my email.  Yes I do things like that, I'm good at losing money, in the real world too.

I just received a message from a person that I purchased a car from and he was asking why I bought two of the same car.  I only have one in my garage and none of that design or even same car type in My Bids or My Auctions but I remain unable to complete (resolve) any transaction.

Perhaps this is why I have been getting the tamper message?  Has this happened to anyone else?  I do not even recall seeing more than one of the cars up for auction......

UPDATE - TUESDAY, MARCH 25th, 2008.

Unfortunatelly, I've talked do Landin and there's no other way on my case - I have to restart.

My TAMPERED PROFILE was made so due to CORRUPTED DATA, nothing to do with TURN10.

I've restarted my career and I'm growing fast than I expected - 2h playing, already level 12. But I've lost all ONLINE won money (I had 890 thousand, almost the 1 mil needed to unlock the achievement).

From now on, I'll do weekly backups of my profile, saving it on memorycard's I'll buy Friday.

Did I mention I miss my fine-tuned CLK AMG? :) If anyone wanna gift me one, my gamertag is sellera :)

i was banned a couple months ago from forza motorsport 2s auction house and gifting
i read around as saw that if u have more than one game saved you get banned? my friend recovered his profile on my xbox so he could play multiplayer with me, and i tried to gift his profile a car. now im banned. could this be why im banned? i deleted that profile off my xbox and im still banned. i swear to you i was not trying to cheat in any way. i was just trying to play with a friend. i never tried backing up my saves or anything, i just recovered his gamertag and tried sending a car. please help me back online. i was a big participater in the AH, and i never sold any nude or offensive material. if this isnt repairable, can someone atleast tell me why?

In fact, Landin did a pretty good job, but the ball wasn't on TURN10 field, but in mine: my profile was corrupted, the profile stored on my 360 HD.

The whole process took a full work week, since my first email and their response.

Unfortunatelly, it was my fault - at least, it's not their's.

Next week I'll start a weekly backup on my profile. I bet it'll help.
