    Pr0ph3cy92's gallery

Figured I should start one of these since i'm getting next to no views, and am not really known at all throughout the community (please tell me if I am :P).

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I like to take realistic shots, or ones that show a lot of action, and ah... Thats about it lol.

Also, here is a link to my '.webs' blog, which will be my proper gallery (but I WILL still post most photos here, I just like having a full screen to show photos, it gets a bit tricky in a forum)

    ^ still majorly under construction...

You need to watch how you use the aperture i think. In shot #2 the front of the car is blurred and in the 370Z shot you can see it clearly in the upper right corner. O9KChocobo has recently updated his Gallery with a useful Guide on Aperture Use. Just give it a look, it certainly helped me.

Ah thanks :) Yeah I did want it pretty blurry (maybe not that blurry) in the 370z shot coz i wanted ALL the focus on that rear taillight kinda area

    Re: Pr0ph3cy92's gallery

Nice pics, but watch the field of depth as sometimes it can make the cars look like toys. Overall its a good start, play with the settings and enjoy it. What site are you using to host?

    Re: Pr0ph3cy92's gallery

A combination of Flickr and Photobucket- actually, the portrait of the 370z is the only one on Flickr, the rest are on Photobucket- I have heard about Flickr somehow looking better, but Photobucket is so much easier to use...

    Re: Pr0ph3cy92's gallery

Lol, I was gonna say that flickr is better to use, it keeps the qulity and is easy to use once you get use to it, click all sizes then medium and copy the bottom link then open and paste in the tree box here. Sorry if that sounded abit mickey mouse.

    Re: Pr0ph3cy92's gallery

It might be Chrome, I dont use it. Might have somethin to do with silverlight too. IE8 is ok, the update on Firefox has me confused as its moved options and tools.

Thanks Mattius, yeah those are some of my favourite shots, I am starting to understand how to set up the camera for a set/track now Smile

There is a full sized shot of the silvia, and another few from the same set, on my blog which is linked in the first post, thanks for the feedback guys Smile

The Supra shot is really good, but it makes me wonder how it would look shot in Landscape format and focusing only on the sign and the car.

And I like the AE86 one as well. It looks strangely realistic. It called to my attention as soon as I saw it. It reminds me of Tokyo. Yes
