    Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

    Awesome video.

    http://videos.streetfire.net/video/e3b46042-7e60-4e5f-9510-988901298fc5.htm

One of the best looking cars, that's for sure.

I agree, just an amazingly good looking car. Great video too. I'm glad that car was confirmed for Forza 2.

Here's a video to go with it: 997 GT3 RS

Here is a video of an M3 CSL and an M-B SL55 AMG in a track day (really good).  At Zandvoort.

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

Nice videos! The CSL is one of my top ten favorite cars at the moment, but I can tell you I will never like it over the GT3, which is not a bad thing because no car in my thoughts can beat the GT3 for the number 1 spot on my top 10 list.....for now.

Understandable; the are Ferrari People, Lambo People, Porsche People, BMW People, Etc.

What do you think of the Ruf RGT?  Do you like the GT2 or GT3 better?

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

Porsche is my favorite manufacturer, but don't get me wrong, I love others almost as much in fact my previous favorite car was a Ferrari.

As for the RGT, I love it. Gorgeous car and my favorite from Ruf too. It's close to a GT3 so I love it.

Hmm....GT2 or GT3......hard question. I like the GT3 because it's the ultimate track car with Porsche's most powerful normally aspirated engine ever and I like the GT2 because it's a Turbo on crack. I'd say GT3 only because it's more obtainable, but then again two turbos are always fun. I can't really choose.....how bout both! Wink [;)]

Wow, after reading this over I realized I am obsessed with Porsche! Nothing wrong with that. It's time for change.....nah

Same with me, but with bimmers.  Remember that video they had back during the Forza 1 days from that Porsche Tuner?  Imagine a 700hp Cayman....... Speaking of which, what do you think of the Cayman?  Boxster?  Cayenne?

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

Sorry, I don't recall a video probably because I got into Forza later than most people.

I'm more of a 911 person like most Porsche fans, but I do respect the Cayman and Boxster. The Cayenne I don't much care for though, only because I don't like SUVs, but I do sort of like it and the X5. To get to 911, I may have to pass through first Boxter and Cayman territory.

Ok, my turn for a question. This is a big one: What is your take on the new styling from BMW?

Very nice sig by the way. Funny thing is that I was making a CSL sig just now:

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

Hm... depends... They are better now (the pre "facelift" 7 was garbage), but I still prefer the cleaner styling of the 96-03 5 Series and the 1998-2005 3 Series.  That said, I like the Z4, Love the Z4 Coupe, like the M5 and M6, and I think the new 3 Coupe is good-looking.

I basically copied my sig from yours, just different car and name!

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

I agree completely. The new styling is very fitting on the Z4, especially the M Coupe. I like the styling on the M6 as well.

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

What is your opinion on the upcoming Panamera sedan-coupe?

Nice BMW sigs... this current CSL is probably temporary until I can get a five

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

I'll just copy and paste from one of my old posts for this one:

The Panamera is basically just Porsche expanding it's market. What's in the GT market? Jags and Astons, that's pretty much it besides Ferrari and their grand tourers and Porsche thinks they can take them.....I don't much like the idea either, but take a look at the Cayenne. I was pretty angry when I heard Porsche was gonna offer an suv! But look at it now, it's succesful and Porsche needs that. If a front engine V10 becomes a success, then imagine what can happen with future Porsche models!

Porsche is planning on a 2011 front engine GT coupe based on the Panamera and modeled after the 928. Rumored engines are normally aspirated and turbocharged V8s or possibly a V10 dervived from the Carrera GT with about 300-650 bhp. It's gonna be a great competitor with the 599!

Answer to your question is that I do like it.

Another hard question: Whats your favorite BMW?

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

I think that the Panamera is going to be a 4 Door... other wise it would steal 911 sales.

WIth those hp numbers, the M5, M6, E63 AMG, CLS63 AMG, and RS6 will be the first to meet it, not the Ferrari 599...

    Re: Porsche 997 GT3 FTW!

Yah the Panamera is a four door. I got carried away and started talking about a different model: a two door based on the Panamera that may be a 928 remake. And that's the car I say would compete with the 599, potentially being the only grand tourer to come close to the 599's performance.

Just imagine what will happen to it once Ruf finishes... sheez... and I thought the new DInan M6 was going to be impressive.  Oh.  Look.  Two more cars to compare!
