I have decided to make another video tutorial to show you the basics of shading and highlighting to make a shiny ball. Then as an added bonus I decided to make it have lightning coming off of it. Keep in mind I dont show the shortcuts I use. One of the main things I use is the stamp tool. Any time you see me lay down something and then that object comes up in the clipboard I more than likely used the stamp tool right there. I know one spot specifically that I used at. Its at the part where I put the white gradient to make the shine. I used the stamp too to make 3 layers there and I only showed me selecting 1. I think thats about it. If you have any questions just ask them and I will try my best to answer them. If you do this tutorial step by step show me your results I'd like to see them. Most importantly have fun and be creative.

Very cool.

I used to use those type of "balls" when I used to tag back in the day. I already know how, but it'll be a good quick and easy tutorial on how to do them for those not in the know.

I hold down Left and the Down arrow on the D pad at the same time. Thats to make the vinyl smaller, then hold Right and Up to enlarge the vinyl.

The stamp tool makes a copy and automatically pastes it in the next slot. Its a shortcut so that you dont have to go through and select what type of object you want every time.

Hopefully that explains each of your questions good enough.

Thanks a bunch for the techniques, i have been playing with customizing the paint scheme as much as i have been tuning and playing the cars.  I love the fact that we don't have to buy the vinyls or release colors. 

now that i have layering down, i will focus on Gredients and shading,  Lots of fun.  I created a license plate using layering and saved it as Template, now, everytime i get a car i just load my template of the license plate number. license plate #?  " 3MTA3 "  clue: looks cool if the guy ahead of you could see it on is rear view mirror.

I see stories of guys getting scammed from their cars for letting others paint it and then they keep it.  Sad but true.
