Building the Takata Time Attack Impreza STi

    This car is just hotness...

    On the subject of random things, something I found to pass time.

    At the end of the day, a game is a game, so play it and have a laugh, rather then pulling out your hair out at the guy who's doing something wrong. If they fall, pick 'em up! Taking something too seriously takes away the fun, which ruins the game. ;)

    Great progress with the car, I also can't wait to see the end result.

    When were you coming to CA. if at all? I seen on your upcoming events you won't make next weekends Redline event at Califonia Speedway (I'll be there). I think there were later events but wasn't sure you be out this way.

    The California Speedway event will be awesome.  There are a lot of great west coast teams so the competition will be intense.  In the class I compete in, Modified AWD, keep an eye out for the MFQ Motorsports's Evo, and the Harmon Motive STi.  These are probably the top two cars to watch in the class on the west coast.  There could be some surprise winners in the class such as the Evassive Motorsports Evo.  I can't wait to find out the results myself.

    Because of our late start in the season, we will only be making it out to the west coast once...
    Novmeber 12     Buttonwillow Raceway       Super Lap Battle Finale
    Make note this event is on a Wednesday.  It's the only event all year that is mid-week.

    The Redline Time Attack finale was originally scheduled for a west coast track this November also but it seems that they have moved it up to the VIR / GT Live event.

    The car will be released to the community on August 3rd!     That is one week after it makes its debut in Nashville. The car will be built and tuned for Road Atlanta. That is the only track in the game that the real car will be on. I also built the car as close as I could to the real world car. It is an A850 class car.

    The car is running around 1:21.9xx right now which puts it right outside the top 1000 on the LB. With a little more fine tuning, the car will be in the top 1000 before its release.

    As a bonus, we also came up with a "real world" tune for this car. I may give that tune away for free and you can have 2 set-ups for this car. The "real world" tune is a bit slower but I know some people like to have a "true" replica. BLJK Takahasi took the time to research all the parts and set-ups for the car and developed a "real world" tune.

    This car will be released in the Tuning Marketplace. I will post a link HERE to the sales ad when its available.

    I was looking through our Dent Sport garage old image gallery of past events, and found these two photos from the Redline Time Attack at Summit Point back in 2006.

    These are early versions of James' Takata Time Attack Impreza back when he was working with Cusco/Nukabe and my Visual Assault Impreza before it was the "RASpec Impreza".





    Kinda funny.
