In trying to search on how those Japanese cars were painted (or rather how were they able to import stock graphics) I continually see the same response that they were NOT imported and they were somehow pasted together with hundreds of layers of stock shapes etc.  Does everyone really believe this? .......  OK, after watching the youtube montage, I did not see the Pirates car, and I could see how all the anime style stuff could be done with lots of work, so my conclusion now is the pirates car was a photoshop.  Oh well, that one really had ny hopes up.  I sure wish we could import some art/photos etc. 

This game kicks ass none the less....

You have to combine primitive shapes to produce these things. Its a matter of figuring out how to plan it out. My favorite shapes are the circle, and the ( ) from the fonts for hair or other things. You can sorta of distort them into the shape you want, the rest is just how creative you are in figuring out how to replicate it with the in game shapes. I think the bonta-kun took about 80-90 individual layers to make. I have to check it.

You have to do it your self their are thousands of layers you can lay on top of each other to get what shape you want. You can use strait lines and circles or pixels to draw what you need . It helps if you plan it out first with a visual aid.

I hate to hop on the bandwagon here but the Butters car is spectacular. Also love the team KFC car.
