Hello Tuning Marketplace community,
Today marks the return of Tank's free tunes to the FM.net forums. Below in the 2nd post are
build/tune sheets for most of Tank's recent free tune releases. (Click on the links to open up the
build/tune sheets.) In addition, we plan to to update the OP with two new free tunes on a weekly
basis starting today. Paints will be available for a reasonable price for some if not all the newest
releases, so please check the 3rd post below for photos and information on pricing.
As always, feedback is definitely welcome, so if you do get a chance to try out some of these cars,
do let us know what you think of them. Also, if there are cars you'd like to see tuned by Tank,
please feel free to post a request here. Well, we hope you enjoy the free tunes!!!
Sincerely,
The GEARBOX Team
P.S. If any of the build/tune sheets have mistakes, please let us know, and we will do our best to
correct them as quickly as possible.

Tanktune User Feedback:
jimnran:
I built the Supra last night and what a dream. I took it to Maple Valley just to see how the grip tune
would work there. WOW. I dont remember my exact time, but I remember it was somewhere
around low 1:30's or high 29's. I know that it is not the fastest car on the track, but it is still a Supra! I
didn't know this thing could grip so well.
Khaddar:
Thanks very much for these tunes! I've only tried a couple so far, the B700 911 and Charger, but I'll
be giving the Carlton, Monaro and Fairlady a go as well some time this week. I was surprised just
how driveable the Charger is, even for a beginner like me - I don't usually get on well with muscle
cars, even with grip tunes. I'll post back with more feedback from the novice viewpoint when I've
tried the others.

I just wanted to drop in and say how much I appreciate these tunes. I've used the SRT10, STi, and
69 Charger so far to much success. As a matter of fact, the Tank tuned 69 Charger is my absolute
favorite car in my stable now. I used it earlier for all types of tracks and it was easily competitive with
the popular cars in B class, and I won quite a bit with it (to many peoples surprise!). I even led 5/6
laps against a VERY well tuned and VERY well driven B700 Teggy/Cobalt. They were making
fun of the Charger pre race and were worried it was a missile tune, but they weren't laughing at the
end. The only reason I lost was my error on the final turn, not their cars. This car is great and causes
quite a bit of commotion pre/post race lol.

As an update, I now built the B700 69 Camaro SS as well. It's a little less forgiving than the Charger
but man does it have balls. In only 2 laps I'd already beat my own Tank Charger's best at Maple
Valley by 2 seconds. Wow. I did a little online racing with a couple wins and a couple other "podium"
finishes. It absolutely dominated at Sebring, I wish I would've took down the track times for you
guys, from now on out I will. Just be forewarned I'm not an allstar driver, usually posting times in
the top 2-3000. I love these tunes though, they're absolutely great for racing online which is what I
like, not circling the same track 100 times to shave .02 seconds off for a LB spot.
