Because I already payed $60 for the game.

Exactly, you did. You paid $60 for a game that you knew what tracks and cars were in it before you bought it. You bought the game "As-Is", so to speak. You are not entitled to content that you didn't know was going to come out in the future.

Wow, are you a representative for M$? Do you know that these developers, including Bungie themselves, would more than gladly release DLC for free but it is M$ who deems pricing? That's because it is far too profitable for this content to be released to the general public at no extra cost. M$ cares about the bottomline and not the consumer, which is a travesty.

    Re: Car packs Free?

You're not getting it. Is it fair? No. Is one entitled to the content for free? No.

Did anyone here dish out $60 for the game last May thinking they were going to get DLC that they didn't even know about in the future for free, or did you pay for the game for what it was (Cars and tracks that were already officially listed by T10)?

because he understands simple economics (making money for your work > not making money for your work)
does not mean that he's a microsoft representative. things just work out that way, and he sees it.

Clearly. That question about being a M$ rep is a literary convention known as sarcasm.

    Riiiight...

That's a hell of a bold statement you're making.  Exactly which developer is it that's willing to give up their house and ability to put food on the table so you can have a few extra fictional cars?

Utopia:  It's not just for pot smoking hippies from the 60's anymore.

Also, that STILL has nothing to do with whether or not you believe you have a god-given right to complimentary DLC based on the original purchase price of the game.

Just for gits in shiggles, maybe one of these days you should see if you can use what I'm sure you believe to be a formidable arsenal of obscure and obtuse vernacular to assert an argument that isn't blatantly inflammatory.

Try it, you might like it.

Busted in a moment of weakness!

Edited to be less of an ass.  Wink [;)]

But seriously now, what is it with you CONSTANTLY squaring off with people?  I've got $5 that says you'd probably be fairly popular around here if you didn't incessently come off as trying to wave your e-phallus in the face of anyone that will listen.

Now?  Turn 10 is a created game studio for the Forza Motorsport franchise which is part of Microsoft Game Studios, the in-house studios which create games for, um, Microsoft exclusively. If you want to see how "Microsoft" Turn 10 is, simply check the licensing agreements in the Credits for FM2.

Apparently this got out of hand when I went to work today... too bad it was a pretty productive discussion to a degree.  I will ask Landin if they can disclose any details regarding the DLC.
