I don't have a favorite racing driver but I do have some favorite racing drives.   I think the one that excited me most was watching Mad Max Papis running his Momo Ferrari 333SP at near qualifying speeds in the last 45 minutes of the 1996 24 hours of Daytona.   The commentators couldn't believe that either he or the car could still be going at that pace after 23 hours.   He was attempting to make up a big deficit on the leader caused by an earlier crash involving one of his co-drivers.   It was one of closest finishes in the history of that endurance race.

Kimi Raikkonen!! he is hilarious. The owner of possibly the funniest moment in F1 history. When asked if he watched Michael Schumachers Prize presentation he replied "I was having a s**t".

Unfortunately I was only 10 when Senna died. I have a lot of fav's. From the pre-war up till now. Rosemeyer, nuvolari, carracciola, Clark, Ascari, Mansell, Stewart, GV....

But my fav is the best that I was able to see in my time. Michael Schumacher.

Mansell was the most exciting though. some of the overtaking he moves he did...WOW!!

I was only 4 when he died but I was there cheering him on; Stefan Bellof.
His record at the Nurburgring is untouchable...

Nigel Mansell was the man to me, the greatest overtaker in formula 1, just search mansell videos on youtube and find the patresse into stowe (i think thats the corner) at silverstone, senna on the main straight at barcelona just to name 2, also drove one of the most iconic f1 cars in history, the williams renault.

Kimi Raikkonen, of course.

Outside of him, I am also a big fan of John Morton, Steve Millen and Paul Newman.

Ayrton Senna, not only the best driver on the track, but also a good human being. When he was younger and saw al the poor children in Brasil, he wanted to do something about it. To make a change, one must be heard. To be heard, one must create a platform for himself. To create your platform, you have be great at something, to be really noticed. And that was racing. He used his racing career to make a change for numerous kids in Brasil, to educate them and give them a future. And that's why he's a real hero and a legend.

The clips on page one really get to me. He's missed.

ok but Schumacher is not the best driver senna was but alex zanardi had the most heart and love for racing after he lost his legs he kept on going
