I just got the same messsage as last night "your forza profile has been tamperd with please delete it and create new game" what is duping sounds retarded.

Can you really buy the same car from a guy and it be copied???

Yeh you can, and i think that is what happened to me and it may have crashed my game.

I did find one thing out with starting your game over again, If you go into the memory on the xbox and go into the forza save and scroll down till you find a file with your gamertag and "save game" writen under it, and delete just that file when you start a new game with the same gamer tag you still have your saved paint jobs, vynil groups and car tuning setups.

It is a pain though as you have no money and no cars and have to start from level one again, but atleast when you get the cars you had before, you can put the paint jobs back on and tune them like you had them before.

they fixed my game now and i don't have to start over now because i e-mailed them about my problem and they reinstated me. im so glad now i don't have to give up two million dollars in cars. thanks turn 10

Hi Dell can you please tell me how you contact turn 10.Today I get this message while I  tried to play with Forza2.I' ve never played online and my problem is that I first played almost the all game in italian...than I changed the language cause I like playing in english the others games.Yesterday after 2 months where I've never played forza 2 cause I've finished it I played the arcade mode and unblock a thing....from that moment I had the problem...Please help me thanks...

I got the message aswell, bid on 2 cars in AH (similar make) as I thought I may get ne of them but  won them both and decided to sell one on as only needed one, changed the paintjob on it a bit and put it back on AH.  It then sold and when I went to get the credits for it I couldnt and then I got the Tampered with message.  Did I do something wrong???  I havent cheated/tampered with anything..

I emailed Turn10 as mentioned on the FAQ but dont know how long it takes till they sort the problem out or look at it... any ideas??  Dont realy want to delete it as I worked so hard to get to the leval I am and the credits/cars Ive earned...

Help plz anyone...

didnt play for months. came back from holiday played it for 30mins did mazda race on factory spec.
after downloaded replay vid then got banned. as i dont even go in the auction house im well peaved.
i dont even race online 1 every two months i might have a blip but i am well angry. im not paying for another live membership when ive done nothing wrong. ive only just got to lv40 which has took me nearly a yr and i cant even go on the single player game this is a utter joke

i also belive that you can see all that ive done on forza online so i want a good reason for messing up my day. as i dont even use auction house nad you can see that all i use is replay vids which are fun to watch.

If you have the specific message as noted in the Forza Motorsport 2 FAQ, follow the instructions to get it fixed.

Well it happened to me again.  this time I returned after running a few races to check my auctions and I get the message that my profile has been tampered with. 

No "duped" cars only my own designs for sale.

What gives?  The only thing I can think of is I was bidding on two similar cars.  If that is the case there must be some serious flaws someplace.

Please Landon, is there anything we can do to resolve this?

Thanks Snowowl, I sent them an e-mail.

I was going through the previous posts.  I did clean my x-box today and removed and replaced my hard drive.  Do you think that could have caused a glitch to make my profile appeared tampered?

This is really frustrating.  I could see if I was trying to play the system and rip people off but I only sell my own designs.  They may be simple and cheap, but they are mine.

Do you or anyone know that if you do have to delete your profile, can you still keep your same gamertag and do you just start over?

Honestly, I don't know what causes the issue, only that Turn 10 fixes it on their end.  Yes, the gamertag and profile are two distinct, separate items.  For instance, if you changed your gamertag (not saying to do that, mind you), the gamer profile, all your contact information, achievements, etc., all remain the same.

Well I received word today that there is no fix for my problem and I have to delet and start over.  OH well.

Same thing just happened to me.  It's really frustrating considering all of the time that I have put into this game.  It also sucks that Turn10 knows about this issue and hasn't done anything to fix it - truly pathetic in their part.

It isn't a matter of Turn 10 knowing about an issue and not doing anything about it, but a problem that some users - not everyone or near a majority - can have under a certain, minor situation.  If it were an issue which affected everyone, not just a few, then it would be dealt with on an update which went to everyone.  Turn 10 does step up to the plate and corrects the instance when it happens.

I know that Turn 10 can't keep the majority from ruining this game for all of us, but I don't even play online that much anymore and when I finally get back on to start playing Forza again I get this wild hair to go buy some cars from the Auction House. Low and behold I get the Tampered with message and have to start over and I haven't cheated or duped at all in any of the games I play. You may be right in one regard, but 22 pages of complaints is more than enough for them to pay a little more attention to this problem.

^^What I am trying to investigate is if there is a way to prevent this from happening.  Unfortunately once your profile has been corrupted there is no way to restore it.

I have heard reports that the only options that are disable is gifting cars as well as the auction house.  I cannot confirm this 100% but I will try and find out.

1. Prevention is simple, STOP the freezing issues, this is the sole cause, as I said before its just a matter of freezing at the fatal moment of saving.

2. Personally I don't belive its impossible to restore, you have already shown to be trigger happy when it suits you, lap time wipes, banning players from AH for no reason normally, taken credits from us in the stealth patch, so you can alter stuff I do belive its a case of you (not you personally) can't be bothered as its does not benifit T10 and they are too busy making up more DLC and pretending everything is just fine, surely adding more cars, track etc just makes things even more unstable and prone for more problems, after all the whole foundation the game is built on is unstable to begin with so adding to it without fixing underlying issues seems daft.

3. I can confirm 100% that TAMPERED PROFILE DELETE AND START AGAIN LIKE ITS NO BIG DEAL SCREEN means the ONLY things you can no longer do is use AH in any way Inc collect credits from previously sold vehicles, bid on vehicles, sell vehicles, but you can still search and look at what you can not have!! you can not gift any vehicles or recieve any gifted vehicles, BUT you can still download and use DLC and compete in online Torns and normal online races as well as usual offline gaming

You say its only the gifting and AH as if its no biggie? but its the only part of the game that makes it different from the rest along with the painting section, but whats the point in painting if you cant sell it.

I thought T10 would want to keep the community alive hence sort the problems instead of fobbing us off, but its obviously not the case and they actually want people to go away which is happening fast, you only have to go online to race to find a massive drop in available races, forums threads have slowed down, Many top artists have pulled the game out of the disc drive for the last time, last time I was in AH there was a massive drop in available vehicles, plus with some upcoming qaulity titles I feel it will only get worse.

I did not have Forza 1as I felt there was better games at the time but I hear it had simular issues with glitches galore, I can be safe in saying I will not be buying Forza 3 if its ever released.

My thought on Forza 2: Forza 2 brought a new fresh angle in the racing market which made it more attractive even though the graphics are not mind blowingly great, but short lived due to the consumer getting short changed at every turn 10.............

First of all can you understand how busy a person I am on these forums?  I have attempted to do my best to reach those players in need, and will continue to do so, so please understand that things take time.  This thread is not the only thing I have to do at work each day.

Secondly the freezing issue can be triggered by problems with the Xbox 360.  There are many reasons why your Xbox may be freezing, therefore we cannot prevent this from happening internally.

Anyways I am going to continue to reasearch this the best I can so please be patient.

I got this message yesterday while trying to recieve a car I gifted to my main account from another one (same console).

 I DO have 3 xbl accounts on this console.

I have turned the console off because it froze during a save.

I only use the 120g hard drive.

Received this message last week and lost 267 cars and 120 mill in credits but started over again and as of last night I get a message I was banned from Auction house and Gifting after I started a new career. I will let you know if Turn 10 fixes this or if it is a lost cause. Note, I never had an issue until I bought Platinum. Now it hangs frequently and I wonder if this contributed to these issues. Anyone else using Platinum having this issue.
