i have just tried to sign in to my forza account today and it tried to tell me to delete my account with that tampered message i do not want to loose any of my cars can any one help me with some advice please . is there any way around it keeping my vehicles if you can help please email trix-g@hotmail.co.uk

I have NEVER used the AH, EVER and I got the msg, emailed, got a response that it was fixed but alas, no, it is still fuxxored. Please Turn 10, fix the problem - once again, never have and now never will use the AH. Thanks

well im totally screwed i see everyone saying its because a duped car but i dont even know what car is duped all my cars i bought from tuners in the tuning market place so i dont know what car was duped i have probably 20 million in cars that i dont want to lose and i just sold 2 of them and i cant get the money for and from what im seeing there is nothing u can do about this and i say this is some fu%^ed up sh^& some of us work hard and long to get where we are in this game and we try to be as honest and right as we can and we get the sh$% end of the stick

i have had the profile tamered with message 1 or 2 times b4 . i fixed it both times through the hard drive cache clear . this time that didn't work ,i don't cheat or dupe
or anything similar to that , because i am so far in the gane it would be pointless
to take a chance a messing up  game . any help would be appreciated . i already read
and sent the unique id info for fixing ,i was looking for a faster fix .

Yeah this is quite ridiculous as I haven't done any cheating in my profile yet Forza says I did.  The number of people who have gotten this problem is incredible.  The gameplay of this game is amazing but the problems such as this with online are unacceptable.  I really hope that my profile is fixed soon.  If not then I'm going to be livid that I bought a game that doesn't work.

 i fixed ny problem, man i feel so stupid some times. if your hard drive has multiple  xbl accounts
make sure all items in privacy settings under edit profile are set to open . that will fic your problem with auction house if you haven't duped or cheated.

That didn't fix anything...  Maybe if forza would acknowledge the fact that I emailed them days ago instead of ignoring me they could fix my damn problem.  Since these messages need moderator approval I would like a moderator to respond to me in this thread after reading this.  I'm getting really mad that I have not been responded to at all.  This is getting ridiculous.

I have not bought a care on the auction since August last year. I have been playing perfectly fine until now. I have all but 7 cars made for the game. Why does it say my profile has been tampered with? who tampered with it? I dont even check my profile. I just race.

Hi there, I  just got the tampered message on my xbox, I had just finished saving a design  i made to vynil groups to put onto a different car and went back to the garage and was scrolling through the cars and it froze, so i had no other option but to turn it off ( This has happened alot recently )

And when i turned the xbox back on it had the tampered message, I can't get into my game save at all. All i get is the orange screen at the start, I press A and it trys to load my save then comes up with the error message.

I have always been on the auction house, buying and selling, I have never duped or anything.

I did buy a couple of cars before the crash, but as i can't get into the game i have no idea if it was the cars i bought or the fact that the game didn't save properly before it froze.

All i know is it is a pain in the butt as i had a heap of cars with custom paint jobs, alot were my own and some bought off the auction house.

So does anyone think it was the freeze that wrecked my save or duped cars that i may have purchased, I don't really want to start again, but i guess that might be a good option as i just purchased the steering wheel just for this game. :(

Just got the tampered message when loading up the game. Gutted. I've never 'duped' or cheated. Have sent e-mail to T10. Have spent hours racing a tuning. The only thing I can think of is that I've brought tuned cars but aside from racing with them I've done nothing!! Is this something that T10 can fix or has all the hours spent on this game gone up in smoke? If so I'll be breaking this goddam disk.

I just had it happen to me last night for the third time. same thing as last time. had a car gifted to me, and tried to receive it. got a message saying there was a problem downloading my gift and to try later. tried every couple days for nearly two weeks with the same result. try to bid on the AH, get a message saying transaction failed, try again later. after two weeks of failure, get the tampered profile message. this is the third time this has happened to me.

anyone have an official answer as to what the trigger is? I save to my HDD, don't even own a memory card, barely use the AH, don't even know how one would dupe or glitch. I never got banned (or at least never got a message saying I was banned), so I know I haven't violated the TOS.

so what's the trigger? what causes my profile to be "tampered with" when all I've done is race online, play career, and occasionally have a car gifted to me or purchase one on the AH?  I can only think of two occasions where the game froze, necessitating a shut down, and that was quite a while ago.

Receiving buyed car from Auction House and game freezing middle of transfer.

I booted xbox and the game stopped start screen with text: Saving your profile..

After many trys, only thing i have left was delete save game to play this game..

342 cars lost with setups and paints with lots of money.

There is no intresting to start all over..

ItJust happened to me it froze on the 'saving game' restarted xbox and got 'Tampered Profile' ... Sent email to forzafb@hotmail.com containing my Gamertag, Windows Live ID (Email Address) and Windows Live PUID which is your UNIQUE ID Found Here (https://account.live.com/editprof.aspx?mkt=en-us)

So just wondering, how long before these lazy bastards get off their butt and do something? I've had this since middle of Dec 07. I cant play my game at all. "Well you can still play carrer and online, just not sell cars." Yeah thats BS. I CANT PLAY MY GAME AT ALL. LET ME SAY THAT AGAIN, I CAN NOT PLAY MY GAME AT ALL.

I dont care what you're reasoning is, let the user know what they did wrong. Dont just block them out of a game and not leave a fix or tell they why. Send me a check for $50 or un-do your mess. Worthless POS. . .

By the way, I'd done the e-mail. Sent 6 of them. Have I gotten anything back? Nope. Has it been fixed? Nope. So helpful.

My xbox live account said my profile has been tampered with i may have bought a duped car and this is making me mad

i just got on today, and i went to get one of my cars out of the auction house and i got the taampered with profile message. What did I do and how did this happen??

I guess i should have come here first before deleting my game data. i had finished the single player game and was just racing for funds to buy the last cars i didnt have. I dont even know what dupe is let alone do it, use it, what ever. I just started the game one day and the msg came up. I figured since it was about 1 month since i last played the game my xbox360 hard drive may have had an issue so i just deleted the data and started again back at 38 level now and collecting cars madly.  I know for sure my game data had not been tampered with as i dont even really play online multiplayer with forza2, me hates the tapping so i just play single player for the cars and cash. Dammmmmmm

I am now very worried this might happen again and ill lose all my cars etc again. i think ill just stop playing the game and move on.

 

editted to add: Silly me when i deleted the game data i actually didnt realise i would lose all my cars and cash, i figured all that was in a database and it would all return.. lmao how stupid do you think i felt when i created the new game save and realised what i had done without checking the forums first. Oh well crap happens next time ill think twice. This is a bug for sure so im not risking wasting anymore game play time on this game. cheers and good luck
