This is something I don't understand.  We all know 30% of all systems fail, which is a damn shame, since my luck with an Xbox has been shitty since day one of the original, but even those lasted longer than the new ones.  Now we're in the "next gen" saga of video gaming.  Does next gen mean more BS problems than with the "old gen"?  If so, make me a time machine so I can go back.  I wish I could say this in a more professional manner, but this is ridiculous!  I can't play Forza for half an hour, when I can play Call of Duty all day!  Sure, Turn 10 did a wonderful job in developing Forza Motorsport 2, I'd just like the chance I deserve after paying $400 for my first system, sending that one in, getting another one that lasts three months, send that one in, get ANOTHER one that lasted not even a year, buying Forza for $60, and all I want to do is play the game I spent my money on, but I can't do it, because.....Oh my, God, there's another problem!  Forza Motorsport 2 has wide-spread freezing problems!

I understand that there are some, SOME people working on this.  Really, I don't know how many people are working on this, and bugs are a pain in the ass to find and fix, yet providing concerned customers with the "we're working on it" BS line is tiring.  Maybe it would satisfy people that spent their money on your product with an actual update that's more detailed.  "We're working on it".  Working on what?  The next Forza?  Wouldn't it be nice for us to see something like:

Unfortunately, with many hours invested into the situation by a deticated team, we still do not have a 100% solution to the freezing problem many people are experiencing while playing our product.  We will continue working to find a solution to please our customers and to allow them to enjoy our product the way the should be enjoying their product.

If they have posted something like that, post more!  As everyone says, don't do what Micro$oft does to us and just leaves us to guess what's happening.  It's also a shame that Microsoft builds a system that can't play games designed for the system.  Now, I may be mistaken, but don't we see Microsoft Studios show up before we can even play the game?  We must see it, because you can't skip through it. 

I'm done ranting on.  Just please........Dammit make this work!  If you can develop this game, you can fix this problem.  Fix it quick!  I wanna race!!!!!!

Don't know why you started another thread, when there are 12 pages, with suggestions, already posted here.  From what I've read, you haven't described what is happening with the "freeze" but just generalized.

It's frozen in many places.  It froze on the stretch on the Ring, while I was painting a car, on New York track, on Mugello short during free run, on one of the test tracks, used to freeze on Susuka until I got another disc, and once it froze during the very beginning where the Turn 10 logo appears on the screen.

If there are 12 pages full of threads similar to this one, why the hell isn't there a solution?  If you're tired of seeing the same damn thread, how tired do you think the customers are of the inability of playing a game they spent their money on?  Ever think of the customer?

Thinking of the customer would prevent you from complaining about the hundreds of threads about the same issue.  Sit there and think about why are there so many threads about the same issue.  Just think about it.

Roll back the last updates.  Microsoft/Turn10/whoever.  I work in IT - if a patch doesn't work, you roll it back.  Roll it back.

There's no point anymore.  They don't give a ***....they're not doing anything about it.........

Unfortunately that won't work. It won't allow you to sign into your profile without the latest update, which seems to be what has corrupted the game. -_-

and they still haven't gotten off their lazy asses and fixed it.......
