New challenge is up boys and girls!  The settings are Mixed PI 450 on Maple Valley Reverse with FWD Cars from North America.  Check it out and run some laps.  Also congratulations to V12 for another great performance this week!

The points from week 2 will be calculated over the weekend and posted here, so stay on the lookout.

I did try a Focus ST, but it lacked any sort of grip, current best is in a Scion now

yea, along with that i was also looking at the cobalt.  but my best is in a scion as well.

This is going to be the most interesting week of the series IMO.

There are a total of 9 cars to choose from and it really looks as though there are only 2 or three.

The Scion has shown to be the front runner early but that may not last.

The number one time on this track on the boards with a PI 550 is a 1:34.xxx

the number one time when I went to bed last night was a 1:39.330 ( I had a 1:39.435 2nd).

While I can see the time getting as low as 1:38.6 orto a 1:38 flat at best; I still dont see it getting even close to a 1:34(Peugeot 206RC)

Its wierd that with only 100PI difference that the times are soo much slower.

Well I am going to go ahead and just pull my foot out of my mouth now.....lol

The number one time right now is a 1:38.1 las of about ten minutes ago.

I have rebuilt this car three more times now this morning and can now see where a 1:37.6 is possible....but im not gonna run that one in the tourny until I have one that can go faster.

I thought I had a great build last night ; and for the most part it was. But there was handling to spare... these new builds have corrected that problem.

so far it does...just barely.  shows how imbalanced some of the cars are, the 206 in particular. 

Man I am looking forward to this weeks as I was trying like crazy last week to get close to those top times and fell far from it LOL.

I must add guys but I have done Qualified and sometimes quite high up in a few Tourneys and never have I once been a Random 30, are they actually hand picked or is it really Random, I have also seen the same names in them a good few times.  It just makes me think thats all.

i guarantee you that there is no "secret" upgrade to the car that i used to post the 137.7xx.  it is 100% legit, NO HAX/GLITCH/WTFHOW performance upgrade trick here.  this week was tailor made for me; i only drive 700pi and below and maple long happens to be my favorite track.  i also happen to have the world records for D and C class maple reverse. =P  so basically what im saying is your car build/setup is probably fine.

don't worry it really is just random, and sometimes fate strings you along. I was the same guy you are right now a couple weeks ago... I couldn't believe I still hadn't been picked. I qualified every week for like 10++ weeks straight and then I won two weeks in a row.

Just keep at it, you will eventually luck out.

Very sorry man for probably making it look like I implyed people were cheating. Those quotations probably made it look like that but it was just me being a smartass again.

By secret upgrade, I just meant a parts combo that noone else has figured out yet that could give you that extra bit of HP or handling.

I know your times are legit and your a great driver. Especially in these Classes. Very impressed with the time you have now and it will be very difficult to beat for sure.
