    [Super Taikyu] 2008 H.I.S. Fairlady Z Replica - Retired

    Here is my attempt at replicating the 2008 Super Taikyu H.I.S. Fairlady Z.  The livery will be released with your choice of two tunes by Sneaky in the Tuning Marketplace.

    Updated WIP pics added.  Big Smile [:D]  I'm very happy with the way everything has come together.  You'll notice that most of the logos have black outlining, which was pretty darn layer intensive!!  The sides and front are pretty much full layer-wise, so I got very lucky in that I was able to fit everything that I wanted on there. 

    I should note though that I did not include one logo, the one behind the front wheel well above 'Trace' for two reasons.  One, there wasn't any room, and two, I had no idea what it was.  Stick out tongue [:P]

    I'll update again once I try out the hood vents.  I'll have some track shots too hopefully.  Hope you're excited for its release!  Big Smile [:D]

    Wow, thanks for the kind words Squadra!  I think Super Taikyu is an endurance series in Japan, but I honestly don't know much about it.  I do like the cars though!  Stick out tongue [:P]

     

    So, I've spent a good amount of time making some hood vents, and here they are.  I made the pics a bit bigger, so hopefully, you can see them.  Let me know what you think.  Should I keep them??  Anything I can do to improve them?  They aren't exactly like what is on the actual car, but I am pretty pleased with them the way the are.

    I'm a great supporter of the details!!! The details make the difference! A livery can be replicated from lots of people but I don't think that everybody "have the eye" and the ability to recreate the details in the best way. It's a pretty tough work! You're for sure one of them nahos! Great skill man!!!

    I can see some slight layer shifting already.  Crying [:'(]  How many paints did it take you before it stopped bugging you??  It's really discouraging that, after all that time you spent to perfect your logos and layout, you can't do anything about the shifting.  Oh well, it's out of my control.
