Points Rewarded to the Top 50 Individuals and Top 50 Team Drivers
Description:
This Hotlap Series will be run for a total of 5 weeks, as
players accumulate points based on their finishing position. Each week points will be added to an overall
standing that will determine the players final position in the series. There will be an individual point total as
well as a team point total. After 5
weeks the overall winners will be announced and rewarded.
Each week the track and restrictions will be changed,
however in order to facilitate the largest number of entries, there will be no
driving aid restrictions. The track
information will be posted in the weekly pitpass report, and the results of the
previous week’s challenge posted in an official thread.
Individual Registration:
There is no need to sign up for the series if you are
entering as an individual. If your time
is within the top 50 spots, your scores will automatically be added to your
overall standings. Continue to place
top 50 times during the season to accumulate more points to your total.
**We will be tracking
results using your gamertag. The
standings will be tied to your gamertag.
If you change your gamertag during the season you will begin scoring
from scratch with your new gamertag.**
Team Registration:
In order to register a team you must create an official team
post in the team registration thread (found in the tournaments section of our
forums). In this post you must include
your team leader, contact information, as well as your full team roster. These
posts will help us identify what teams are registered for the series.
In order to open the competition to some of the smaller
teams, that they might compete in this part of the competition as well, teams will be allowed to sign up together. This also includes the ability to add
individual members not part of your team who might wish to join the team
competition but not the club itself.
Roster Lock:
At the end of the first week of
competition we will no longer accept any changes to your team roster. After week 1 has been completed new members
will not be able to be added to your team, but departing members will be able
to be removed. The only exception to
this is new team sign-up. If a new team
is formed or did not sign up initially they will be able to register at any
time.
Individual Points System:
A driver’s finishing position will determine the amount of points gained for
that week of competition. Only the top
50 drivers will finish in the points that will be added to their overall total. At the end of the 5 week series, the top
drivers and teams will be awarded based on finishing position.

Team Points System
The top 5 drivers that are registered with your team will
make it into the points. We are
rewarding the top 50 team drivers with the same points scale used for the
individual standings; however the top 5 driver’s points will be added to a
“Team Point Total”. If you would like to participate in the team’s
points race then make sure to register your team by following the instructions
provided above.
Errors in Scoring
The results from each week of competition will be posted the
Monday following the completion of the challenge (Friday), in order to ensure
adequate time for changes and adjustments.
You will be responsible for checking the official results each week, and
alerting one of the Hotlap Marshals if changes to your individual or team
results are needed.
Once the scores have been posted on Monday you will have
until Thursday to report any errors in the scoring. If you fail to report
these errors by Thursday then no changes will be made. The results posted in the Weekly Pitpass
Report will be considered final, and will only be changed if they do not match
the results posted in the official scoring thread.

First Place: 10,000,000 CR and 3 Gift Cars of
Choice
Second Place: 8,000,000 CR and 2 Gift Cars of Choice
Third Place: 6,000,000 CR and 1 Gift Car of Choice
Fourth Place: 5,000,000 CR
Fifth Place: 4,500,000 CR
Sixth Place: 4,000,000 CR
Seventh Place: 3,000,000 CR
Eighth Place: 3,500,000 CR
Ninth Place: 2,000,000 CR
Tenth Place: 1,000,000 CR
