Now, about the Blues Brothers car that I didn't get...

Tell you what, I'll put up a couple of them tonight, maybe a couple of our newer ones, too.

Budtheweiser:  That's really shaping up nice!  If it doesn't hurt your feelings, though, I can offer one little tip.  It looks like you're trying to get each of those red lines shaped by skewing rectangles.  Make your life easier: make each of the red stripes go at least a foot longer than they should be each way, and then place a huge white vinyl over each side of them to make the edges line up perfectly - maybe a couple of swoops from the Primitives page, or you might find something in Stripes that can skew into the right shape.  Then lay a white rectangle over that to frame the POLICE logo.  Way easier than trying to get each one measured separately, and it's sure to look right all at once rather than needing a bunch of individual, time-consuming adjustments.

But it's looking right, Budtheweiser - can't wait to see the end results!

I suppose we could...  Well, I guess I'd be using the Bluesmobile for that.  Still my favorite of the lot.  Let me mess around with the GIMP and see what I can do.

Re reading your tips Darque I actully made the red stripes by skewing the red square with curved corners then laying white stripes over that then  using another 2  curved pieces to get the shape.

No problem.  I'm sorry if that message seemed confusing about the "newer ones" part - what I meant was that I was putting up a few of our other designs that have been completed since the last big auction.  The Bluesmobile itself only comes as a 2006 Dodge Charger.

And I lied, anyway, I only ended up putting the Bluesmobiles up last night.  Without getting too personal, I'm having some issues with some medication that leave me feeling a little less than 100%, and about halfway through building a third car, I sort of conked out with a controller in my hand.  It's a good thing I've got a forgiving wife...  and a comfy chair.

One of those Bluesmobiles got sold, but the other is still up for another 8 hours or so, at the usual price of 120K opening bid, 300K buyout, listed as a non-featured auction.

Tonight I should be able to get a couple of Arkansas State Police Chargers up on the AH, maybe Summerville, Chicago, Gotham, New York, and so on.  I'll post here once I've got a list.

Saturday is a MAD day at Connecticon, so I'll be busy that day - I run the console gaming there, and this is the last Member Appreciation Day before the 'Con itself August 1-3.  In case anyone is looking for some big anime/gaming convention action, hop on over to Connecticon's website for more information.  The only reason I mention this is that we will be having all sorts of tournaments, including Forza 1 and 2, as well as everything from Halo to Rock Band.  And all sorts of anime, CCG, and other gaming stuff, if you're into that sort of thing, but me, I'm just a video gamer.  So if you're in the southern New England neighborhood, feel free to come on in to Connecticon and see me.

Sounds cool, but unfortunately I'm nowhere near New England... I'm in Real England across the waters!
