With so much participation in the Team Seattle Replica competition Che and I decided to run another livery competition, but this time the theme is different! Keep reading to find out all the details.
So what’s this competition all about?
This is a fantasy livery competition where we challenge you to create a one of a kind livery based on your favorite automotive or video game related website, magazine or forum (ex. Gamespot, Car and Driver, Bimmer World, Audi Zine etc..)
Since the majority of users on this site are interested in video games and cars, we figured this would be a good combination to get people involved! Also this is a global contest so your chosen website or magazine can be from anywhere in the world.
You can create your design on whatever car you want, so be creative and pick a car that you think best suits your design. Also collaborations are welcome, however you will have to split the prizing. If you are submitting a car with multiple artists then please make a post saying who will be accepting the prizes.
What are we looking for?
We will be judging on the overall look of the car in comparison to the related website or magazine, as well as the overall creativity of the design! We are also looking for a livery that conveys a consistent and authentic looking theme. Imagine that these publications are sponsoring real cars...create your livery with that in mind. These cars could be invovled in a popular car show, or racing in a professional motorsport. It's up to you to decide what direction you want to take your design!
When does it end and how do I submit my design?
We will be accepting submissions until Monday March 10th, so you will have to be quick in creating your design.
All you have to do is post your design in this
submissions thread when it has been completed, much like all of the other competitions hosted on this forum. You are allowed to post
a maximum of 4 pictures when making your submission. Also you can submit multiple designs, however they all count towards your 4 picture total, so you can use all 4 pictures to show off one car, or show off multiple cars...the choice is yours.
Please keep all the discussion in this thread, and simply post your completed design in the other. We will be scouring the submissions thread to find all of our favorites once the submission window has passed.
