Only thing I saw is that they are looking for people on the programing side not a forum monkey type position.  You're a cool guy though.  I hope *something* works out for you.  Turn 10, I give Hadoq a thumbs up.

    The Man:
HEy Hadoq, Kudos for putting yourself out in the open like this. It takes guts to post a thread basically talking about yourself. But I believe you wrote a very fair and accurate description of yourself.

    Well said ^

I do however think you are selling yourself short on your artistic abilities, I have seen some of your photos and you are up there with any gallery I have ever seen.  Not to mention your talents just painting cars here on this game, you can always tell a "Real" artist by their attention to detail.  Art is subjective but details show a strong personality trait that seperates the amateurs from the real artists.  I do hope that you will put a resume together that includes some of your art so that Turn 10 can see past the words you write, after all, they are just words.  They say a picture is worth a thousand words, show them!!

Best of luck friend Smile [:)]

    Hello

Regarding Mister Yamada (Hadoq), I’ve got a little experience with him, but I can say:

    • You can trust him easily, he do what he says.

    • He provides a lot of support to people, help them in order to improve their car liveries.

    • He is very passionate by cars for sure.

    • He has true artistic skills; he is one of the best designers of the FM community.

    • He speaks English very well, far better than me ...

I’m sure he will be a great addition for Turn10

    Good luck m8,

Yea, I hate to be a negative one, but you do have to look at what they need before getting too excited about it:

"We’re looking for experienced developer talent: If you’re a hot Graphics dev, Tools dev, Networking/Servers dev, Pipeline dev, or an SDET with content, pipeline, or online expertise, you need to be a part of Turn 10’s world-class team. We’re also looking to staff up on a variety of Art positions, including Tech, UI, Modeling, and Environments. Basically, if you’re an accomplished developer with a passion for games (or racing), get in touch with us pronto."

You sound like a real good guy but you have to look at whether you're actually qualified for the job first.

Good luck in your venture my good man. I think you deserve the opportunity. You were one of the originals that started it all. I believe you could do this community a great service. You have my full support.

This says it perfectly, I think if Turn 10 has some place to fit you in, that you would be a great addition to the team and a big benefit for the rapidly growing Forza community.

Re: [community] I'm asking for your support here - T10 application

    Turn 10,

Hadoq is one of the more genuinely polite and helpful members of the forums. From his posts and involvement in so many areas, he has been a great cause in the success of this community. I think it would be great to see his passion that he has thus applied, for not much more than a thank you, in a position that can have an even greater impact. What better person to consider for hire, than someone who is extremely passionate about your product and the community that surrounds it. I too am nearly thirty years old and have held a couple of management positions. When auditioning candidates I would always look for the kind of confidence and drive that Emmanuel displays, which I'm sure your hiring committee does as well!

    Hadoq FTW.

    You get my vote, anyday.
You contributed so much to this community and been such a great part of it that I don't see any reason why you don't deserve the job.
From your story, I know you really want this job, it ties in perfectly to your likeings and you would be a great asset to Turn 10.

Best of luck with it and hope it all goes well. You've got what's essentially the entire Forza community backing you and with very good reason!

Re: [community] I'm asking for your support here - T10 application

this is so exciting guys, even tho there's no official reply or anything, I mean I'm aware it could be a "no" or a "welcome aboard".

I was talking about this to a very good friend of mine (who owns a video game shop where I get all my games, for the record... I've allways managed to live less than 100m to a video store as far as I remember hahaha), he told me, and he was right, I was a dreamer.

here's what I told him back: yes I'm a dreamer, the current employement situation makes it hard to get a job anyway, even if you're looking for some unqualified job, here in france, stuff goes so you never really get hired anyway, making it really hard to anyone to find a permanent job, I'm not talking career here, just a job so you can get started with your life.

this is an opportunity, probably the "once in a lifetime" kind of opportunity so I can get the best for my family, my kid deserves a decent education and a happy home, wich means happy parents. But things around are so messed up, so far, in almost 10 years, I only had one decent job, I mean the kind of job where I had the chances to show what I can do in something relatively interesting. Unfortunately the job was far away and once we took the transportation costs out (gas is around $2 a liter here (around $7.5 a gallon I guess, so you have an idea) we couldn't earn enough to eat. So unfortunately, I had to take a "weird" decision: I would make more money being unemployed cause I would earn slightly less but it would reduce the overall living costs so we would have more money. But then I got approx 1 year and a half in order to get a decent job (giving the actual employement situation).

things are, I couldn't find any, so far, and I got abit less than a year left. Once this ends, I have no idea what would happen to us, right now, my wife has some sort of part time job at a factory (she's high school graduated) so we can get enough to survive, so now this is a critical situation, cause if I don't get a decent job til the end of this year, then I'll have to take the first job I can, wich means my wife will have to stop working and we'll end up again with minimum living money with all that implies.

I'm not going for pity or anything here, just explaining why I try to get as many opportunities as possible, giving it's hard to find any job anyway, I thought I'd only go for jobs I'm really interrested in, so if I get one, I can give 100% or more of myself to it and hopefully start a career somehow, get a significant experience that'll allow me to move on with my life and family, starting to make serious plans for the future.

Now here, we have a "legend" I don't know if it's true, but as said above, I'm a dreamer so... here, it's being said that over there in USA, people get hired regarding what they can do, what they're capable of, I want to believe in that, cause here, no matter what you can do, you won't get any job unless you have diplomas (wich doesn't allways mean you know about what the diploma says, I got solid examples of that), and/or relations (then no one cares if you can do the job or not, cause you're "Mr X" cousin whatsoever...)

never wondered why our whole economy is falling apart slowly? why french companies are becoming less and less competitive ? I've seen it happen, I can see that all the time. I know I can make my way through all of this, somehow, probably, if I have to I guess I'll have no choice, but this opportunity here is like a whole other kind of hope, probably a dream, yes, who cares how it's called? I believe I can do what it takes to be as useful as possible, cause that'll be about stuff I love, about stuff I know and I enjoy like every day. I've been into cars, I love cars, and I'm definately a video game generation kid, no doubt about it, I know I can deal with communities I've done it with great success before, I know I can write and build nice texts about any subject, I've done it before with success as well and still doing it to help my friends if they need something well written. I'm an artist, musician, with wide culture, from 30's jazz to 2000's electronic music, from metal to hip hop, from heavy metal to smooth soul music. You guys made me realize I was pretty decent at taking pictures and general graphic stuff. I'm comfortable around people, talking in public if needed. I've negociated contracts in the past, for marketing purposes, and the list goes on. I'm not saying I'm an expert in all of this, but if I'm asked to do something like that, then I'm pretty positive I can get it done right, and I'm willing to put all my energy in it.

anyway, I think I still won't be able to post this thread without thanking you all again for what you're doing. let's get this thing done, together, I want to believe in it no matter what, I know It's kind of daydreaming, but that's how people get new things done, how we improve, by being a little crazy, dreamers, dedicated and hard working.

+1 on putting yourself out there. If you truly want the job give it your all. It's so amazing to see that some of us might actually have a chance at working for a developer of a game we all love.

I too have thought seriously about doing this, the ONLY issue that has held me back is my location and the fact that I'm still working on my degree. I live in FL and I believe their studios are in San Diego. I would gladly take a job with T10 and move out there in a heartbeat if I had the opportunity.

Good luck, Hadoq. I hope it works out for you.
