Dasboard update: The countdown has begun

Ok, we’re getting closer. I just learned that the May ‘07 dashboard release is set to be released just a few hours from now. To be more specific, the LIVE Operations team expects to start rolling out the update after 0200 PT tomorrow morning. I’ll make another post when the team start the roll out. 

The PR team has issued an alert, so it must be official…right?

Hopefully this means we'll see the demo on the marketplace at the same time!!!!!!!!! Arrrrgh finally. retribution.

My guess is Thursday/Friday at the earliest, otherwise I would think that Major Nelson would have included that tidbit in his post.

i getting tired of this secert bull crap, just release the stupid demo, because you ceate all buzz and people get excited about the ip, then you guys push it and push it and then people dont care when it does finally comes out (i.e. will wrights "spore") just release it ok. wayne (chawaa) on live

I don't think it will be comming with the update, I'd like to think that T10 would have announced it with pomp and celebration "Teh demo has landed!!!11" they would announce and we would cheer and celebrate and say we were wrong to get so upset at them.

Although....

Perhaps it was a ploy? What if MS just held it back to have a real headline for the update? Ahh, that would explain both why it's been so long even though the real game got certified, certainly the demo would have. It would also explain Microsoft's opinion on cruelty to humans, I guess we won't see any big cheques from the going to Darfur any time soon....

Well, whether we like it or not, we'll just have to wait and see.

Im starting to lose faith : ( i used to be really hyped for the game but because of all the pushes for even the demo for gods sake im about to give up on the game and just look forward to EAs SKATE and COD4 modern warfare

I too feel your pain.  I say that microsoft should just keep their demo until the final game is released. Im in the same boat you are.  I tired of waiting.  I was hyped to play the game 2 weeks ago when the demo was confirmed for APRIL, but since we dont have it, i say keep it.  Its not like there is going to be hours of things to do anyway.  After 2 hours or so, you will have done everything with the demo that you probably can do.  So i hope microsoft keeps there demo and ill just wait for the final release.

 

P.S. just got done fighting with the lady so my tune will probably change come tomm....lol

Now cool your jets guys... he didn't say that the demo was coming out within the next 12 hours... he said he would have NEWS about the demo within 12 hours....

The good news could be that the demo is coming out before this weekend for all we know.... or it could be that he just saved a bunch of money on his car insurance by switching to Geiko....

We will find out in less than 11 hours... be patient my friends!
