I agree, The sound, although not perfect, changes as you modify your car and the look should change along with it. Yes they should have the sounds for turbo and supercharged cars. I would definitely like to see the flames when upshift/downshifting and mainly when you lift off the gas without braking (ex: trying to carry big speed through and out of a turn) that would be super cool!

Yeah, i realized that after i posted it. The problem is that some people out there upgrade their cars with the intent for us to be able to tell they added a turbo/supercharger by looking at it, not just hearing it. As of now we can only tell by sound and that just doesn't cut it.

Agreed, also dump valve choice would be nice.

this is totally true.  side pipes would be awesome on the muscle cars and those giant tin cans always look good on a japanese car.  they could also do pipes coming straight out of the hood for that mad max feel.

and while they are at it they can put huge blowers popping out the the hood on the muscle cars.

if they did that it would make my day

as for the side pipes : make your own I know its not the best pic for the pipes, but if you look in the reflection you can see em better, but they are there!

I agree on the exhaust change as well. But I would really like if they add the flame shooter out of the tip of the exhaust on mid/high mod cars. I mean all cars that is!

yes, greater exhaust types would be a great deal better. The wierd boxy upgrade units make GT cars look abit silly and the fixed position halfway up the rear bumper is just stupid to look at and ruins any good cars I have.  Astons, Corvettes and others all look crazy with a bloody exhaust poking through the bumper rather than underneath or from the side-skirts as on real cars.

Spitting exhauts would look MUCH better too and add alot to the look of the game especially in replay modes.

yea exhaust pipe look change could be nice and don't know for me but even the stocker exhaust looks better than the FM2 body kit boxy one and this is destroying the styling and performance quality we gain with the splitters. In fact they should put the exhaust back where it was and scrap this boxy thing we actually don't want to see firstly. After, changing the style of the pipe would be lot more better with this kit (along with the other). For spitting exhaust, if its possible in real life, why not, I'm not against adding this but lets say it may not be my priority.

, for the sounds and brands, maybe a complex  thing to do (to T10) but it should be quite an achievement (in facts they recorded a lot of cars why not other exhausts) and to be able to change the color of the stock rims please make it and unlock the paint of some stock cars because on cars like tommykaira R34 and Mines R34 you can't even put windows tint and I think this paintjob lock thing just suck (hope I'm not alone thinking it)...

Adding the big carburetors intakes air scoops on the muscles cars should be great too, theses big boxes on the hoods of theses chargers and old vettes of this world. Should be damn crazy.

yeah, this applies for me as well. I hate it when I'm running a 500hp+ car that has a dinky little exhaust on it. Plus, some of the aftermarket bumpers even have a spot for a bigger pipe! There is only one car i have found that you can put a bigger pipe on and thats the Silvia S15 with the NISMO rear bumper. It puts about a 3 or 3 1/2 pipe on it and it looks awesome with my 400hp S15! The exhaust is a definite needed update for this game!

Yeah i agree on that...Since it's a simulator game when u change ur exhaust into a larger one u should be able to see it on the car too...I mean that's what happens in real life!!!Also spitting exhausts on turbocharged cars would be awesome and totaly realistic...Hope the developers will be able 2 add these 2 things on this already fantastic game...

I see it's been awhile someone has posted here so i'll add this. Besides exhaust they could (although it'd be some compromise to do it) have them add some default body work on the fenders as we add wider tires. Now when you add wider rubber their is no change in the look of the car and that's definitely not how it is in real life. Although we would prefer to have a choice in brand for body kits at least have a default so others can tell we have added more tire to our rides. As a side note how about in the next game make it were we can click the right thumbstick to flash our headlights to let slower players (and mostly slower A.I. cars) know a faster car is about to lap them and give some room. Depending where on the track you are that is because i know it's sometimes easier said than done. Not sure were that would be for those who use steering wheels. Don't really use it otherwise except when i'm watching replays.
