i used to have a Guitar teacher named Jesse Mason who could do stuff like that all day to any tune he wanted, he was one of the best guitar players ive ever seen, bar none, but he also was probably one of the most musically cynical people i have even met, sadly

How long has he been playing guitar?

Tap style guitar is sweet.  I prefer teh metal riffs however.

Nice :) Some acoustic players can do some amazing percussive tappin beats....but yeah its hard to do on electric LOL. Nice vid.

Also, I know Tommy Emanuel does stuff like that.  He also says he hits his forhead against the mic and he calls it an extra base drum .
