Im 99% sure the information on Pips is wrong. The poster himself has a "Post Rank" of 64, and he only has 2 pips.

Nope, if you hold the mouse over the "pips" it tells you what they're for.

Although I still have no clue what 'post rank' (1st part of my original question) is.

All I have in this world is my balls and my word and I don't break 'em for no one.

It's outlined in the OP.  When your post count gets you in the Top 500 you will get your first green bar/pip.

I just joined recently and I'm not sure if this is normal.

When I post, or create a new thread, it usually takes a full 24 hours or more until I can see what I wrote. Before I realized this, I created 4 nearly-identical threads on the Auction House forum by accident. Am I doing something wrong?

Nope, we are. Post it once and it's there waiting approval. It is then up to us to review and approve the posts awaiting approval. Sometimes it appears we are all away at once and their can be an extended period when posts are not approved.

If I remember correctly, I made the rank "apprentice" for people who dont have any post.
But that's a while ago.

Most of the ranks are still the way you set them up Drows. Only some of the highest ranks have been modified.
