    buzzDOGG:

I've found this a very useful thread which has inspired me to have a proper go at tuning. So I'm trying to tune a CR-X Del Sol D400 for Laguna Seca and I'm having trouble knocking the understeer out of it without losing grip. With my current setup I've only managed a 1:37.17. Would any kind person be willing to take it for a spin and give me a couple of tips on how I can improve it? *please*

If you post it then I"m sure we can eye-ball it and tell you whats wrong.

Full respect to those willing to share their knowledge with newbies like me. I have noticed that in tunes posted, the spring settings don't seem to equate with the on-screen options when trying to set spring settings, am I missing something here? please help!

Re: So you want to learn how to tune? *All You Need To Know*

Do you have the spring rate set to metric or english?

Also, the game seems to randomize what decimal is at the end of the #, i.e., sometimes it is .7, and other times it could be .4.

Ok, where do I check to find that out, is it on the spring tuning screen?

Re: So you want to learn how to tune? *All You Need To Know*

    Hey all,

First off, great thread! It's great to see so many positive vibes going around. :)

I'm just getting into tuning in Forza 2 so I can be more prepared to take full advantage of tuning in Forza 3. But I'm only really interested in tuning AWD cars as I plan to start designing Rally car liveries for those rally fans out there. I was wondering if there were any "pros" out there who specialized in tuning AWD cars? Currently I'm working on an R32.

    Cheers. :)

Re: So you want to learn how to tune? *All You Need To Know*

You need to start with a very low front Anti-Roll bar and high rear Anti-roll bar as AWD understeer in a major way. The rest are pretty much the same, from cars I've received and created personally.
