Wow, what can I say, I guess first off I want to thank T10 and now PG for a fantastic franchise, you guys really have nailed the racing genre with the Forza Motorsport and Horizon installments and I cant wait to see what you come up with in the future.
Ok, a bit about myself, my names Danny and I'm a 33 year old father of 5, I live with my partner and we run our own business, I have had numerous jobs in the past including, casino croupier, quality control supervisor, truck driver and advertising sales manager plus numerous others.
I went to art college when I left shcool but dropped out due to my 1st child being born and having to work to support a family but I always kept my passion for art by drawing in my spare time usually cars lol. My other interests are Forza obviously
, anything automotive (motor racing, car shows, rc, basically anything with 4 wheels), food (I'm mean in the kitchen
) music and fashion (well trainers/sneakers).
My car history Jeremey Clarkson would probably call checkered, I've had some good:
Clio sport 172, mini cooper s, focus st170, mk2 golf gti 16v, fiesta zetec s the proper 1 (02), another clio sport(cause i missed the 1st 1[:'(])
and some not so good:
Peugeot 306 d.turbo, citroen zantia (dont ask), mazda 3 (yawn), seat leon cupra 20v t (was like riding an elephant lol) and another 306 hdi(cause i hated the 1st 1 so much
)
Also a few others not really worth mentioning.
At the moment im driving a lovely black focus st and am trying to figure out a quick way to get myself into a nissan GTR without selling 1 of the kids or putting my house on the line lol.
Right Forza, i started off playing Fm1 after i saw the trailer for Fm2, being a big fan of that other racing game but seeing nothing new from them for a while I was hungry for some new racing action and having just purchased a 360 i ran out and bought the original (gotta love backwards compatibility
) and absolutely loved it, I dont think i played another game till Fm2 came out and when it did WoW, I was hooked, lined and sinkered lol.
I never really got into the painting side of things straight away (not properly anyway) we used to run online championships (what happened to those t10?) where id send out the message, which car, class, tracks etc and you would have the rest of the week to tune, paint and prep your car and race on the weekend... It was awesome!! Thats when i was introduced to the paint booth, obviously my 1st paints were nothing to write home about, a couple stripes maybe a few decals but after seeing some of the super artwork on cars on the auction house i had to try my hand at something a bit better.
I started off with the fast n furious tokyo drift evo and 350z (sorry no pics) in my own mind they were amazing lol and they sold well (unlocked anyway lol) but it was good practice, the 1st paint I was actually really proud of was a Spiderman car, I loved it, the missus loved it and the kids loved it, it was my introduction to fantasy painting and to the forzamotorsport.net forums where I quickly registered to show off this amazing masterpiece
and guess what I found a pic of it, now dont laugh and yes i know he has 3 fingers, I still hate doing hands now lol

After that I did a few requests 1 of which was an air jordan car and my favourite paint from fm2 was a samurai jack paint with a lovely sunset background which I put on like a million cars lol

My intention with forza 3 was to make a name for myself as a painter, inspired from some of the great artists from 2 such as treewick, janda, dubh, dam, vix and fruitster (sorry if I left anyone out) as soon as i finished the intro bit I headed straight into the pb and whipped up a couple of rides to put in my shiny new storefront, painted a few cars but nothing memorable, nailed a few requests but still wasn't satisfied, I needed to take it to the next level, that's where Quantum ink came in.
After doing a few colabs with invisibekick we decided to start a paint shop and immediately set about getting a few painters on board, my 1st stop was movingshadow77 who I'd been a fan of his stuff for a while and thought he would fit in nicely, who bought in Il twitch Il and added to the roster over the years with carbon and monster the garage has done really well introducing some great artists and releases into the forza world and also bringing a uniqueness that is Qink to our lil garage (thanks monster
)

Forza 4 started off with a bang the 1st car I painted in game got featured, qink had formed a tuning department and we were cracking out releases weekly and getting regular features, I'd set out what planned to do and established a name for myself and my garage in the forza world and I couldnt have done it without the help of this great community and for that I thank you, here are some of my faves from 4 and horizon
