no it will not...

 

2 reasons: the cap on the storefront is way to low...and an even more important reason: we want to ensure that our paints are being driven with our tunes and vice versa.

Really sorry to hear that Sane... because this is a damn fine looking car, and I'm sure the tune is top notch too... I won't be buying though for 1 simple reason... I already have an 08 Subaru with most, if not all, the parts purchased for it. If the tune and/or paint were available from the storefront, I could buy them and apply them for little or no additional cost and not have to get a garage full of cars like I had in FM2... I could have 1 copy of each car and be done with it instead of 20 Evos/Subbies/Skylines/etc... I can respect your desire to keep tunes/paints together, but I honestly don't see any need in having another garage full of different versions of the same cars when I could just as easily have 1 car with 20 different tune setups/paints.

 

Best of luck to you, and the other garages that choose to do it this way though! Believe me, I will be watching to see how it goes, and may very well change my manner of thinking at some point.

 

But damn, I would have liked to get this car.

I wonder how hard it would be for Turn 10 to add an option to "link" a paint with a tune in the storefront.  They should have done "Livery", "Tune", and "Car" in my opinion.

I can see where your coming from Pothole about having one car you continuously swap out tunes and paints on, but we'd just like to keep the car as a complete package as SaNe said. We can't stop anyone from removing the tune or the paint on the car though.

Yes it may put many off from purchasing the car but its no different that how FM2 worked (Though at least you could store cars in your AH) Another nice feature we lost, as we did the garages favourite option!

It is a shame you can't save both items as u can with the separate parts as storefront does, Dew what you said would be ideal if T10 went for it.

Needless to say we will be using the storefront for some releases, but the major releases the Auction house is just the way we'd like to do it as are a few other garages I believe.
....We couldn't live with ourselves to see the sellers we had sleeping on the racetrack with no job lol

I fully understand why some of you may avoid it.  We, however, are standing by our decision to sell through the AH.  

We feel very strongly about keeping the tune and paint as one.  I have a hard time dealing with the possibility of our tunes being put on someone else's paints and vice versa.  I just don't like that.

Let me also say this: by avoiding the AH and replacing it with the storefront, you are contributing to the extinction of sellers.  I, personally, have alot of respect for the likes of McMansell, and all the other sellers for our garages, that worked their ***** off in FM2.  I refuse to take them out of the loop because of the new storefront.  They are part of our team, and it's gonna stay that way. 

Unlike most storefront using garages, we will still have a back catalog to order cars.  If you guys change your mind the car will be available to you.

Sane i understand totaly your opinion perso storefront or AH if i like the car i purchase !!!! for me i'm sure the limit of 10K in the ST do that the people find the prize enxpensive But in FM2 all car sell for arround 300.000 > 500.000 therefore i find the prize CORRECT !!!

+ S&R car with S&R Tune > Gearbox car with Gearbox tune ..........  therefore i agree !!!!!!

And for the Seller i agree to the ST kill the seller !!!
