If anyone has setups for the Mustang GT or Pontiac GTO let me know.im trying to replicate the Ken Gushis Team Toyo Drift machine and Rys Millens GTO

As for the GTO, try using the setup for the Vauxhall Monaro (it's on page 5 and not on the front page yet).

The Monaro is based on the GTO (looks almost identical), but I'm not sure whether they're the exact same or not performance wise. Anyway, try it out and see how it goes.

alright ill give it a go

I tuned two Mustang GT's for 2 other members yesterday and I'll be happy to tune yours. If you can gift the car over to my gamertag, I should be able to gift it back within the hour.

alright...ill gift it tonight.im not near my 360 right now. but should i put any mods on it.its already at A848 should i upgrade it higher for more torque first before i send it to you

Re: Drift Settings Database (Forza 2 Set-ups Only)

I usually start with all sport engine modifications for the majority of my cars when tuning. If you can do that, I wouldn't have to add much in the way of upgrades. Once I receive the car, I should have it back to fairly quick. Depending on the car, it shouldn't take no more than 30min to properly tune and test.

    Info:
Good base setup for introducing folks to drifting. Tuned with low power in mind but easy to slide with to help you learn the nuances of initiating the drift and controlling your car through the turn. Made to drift in 2nd gear, so turn your assists off and use manual transmission. Don't let this classic fool you, it's actually quite enjoyable!

That's the most common misconception about drifting: "good angle = good drifting"... not true. AWD is seen as "cheater drifting" or "not real drifting" because it's extremeely easy to get high angle. In a RWD car, don't expect to get any more than 45 degrees. 30/35 degrees (estimated) is probably what most people get (even the pros).

Drifting focuses on line, speed, smoothness... angle comes second to those. Judges will favor a drifter who is a little faster, a little smoother, and hits all the clipping points vs. a drifter who gets lots of angle, but is slower and twitchier.

I tried the Sparco Evo set up lastnight not bad a least i was drifting. Is there a drift event in the game? I used all my credits up to max out the evo - any more setup updates going for this car?  Plus whats the best RWD car to drift? Might add a few people in this thread to my friends list if that ok.
