I don't think they've had their morning coffee yet - I can't wait to see how you tie the design into the whole car. It's a good choice too - not too many people paint that car. Then again, most of your designs have been on less popular cars. Cheers!

This will show what a dork I am, but oh well.  I picked the car I did because of one main reason.  If you look at the front of the car, you'll see the shape is very similar to the front of General Grevious' cruiser that Obi Wan takes after the battle between them.  And, it's got some really great painting surfaces.

Looking good so far.  So does this mean you are not going to do the other ideas for the car we spoke of, or is that still a go?  One thing...  I have noticed that he may need a bit more shadowing under the left side of his eyebrow..  In the original pic because of the darkness around his eyes he looks kind of pissed...  In the livery he looks almost scared.  I have been trying to figure out why and that is the only difference I can spot right now.

I'm afraid that the original idea that you had suggested is a no go.  I couldn't do it, that's how difficult it was.  I couldn't get it to look right, to be honest, it looked like crap.  So, instead I chose to do this one, and I'm going to give you one for free because you gave me the original inspiration to do it.  Hope it's not too big of a disappointment man, sorry!

Damn..  That must have been really bad.  I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed, however what you came up with is looking really good!  So I am excited about that for sure.  The other ideas I was speaking about though was the little stuff on the car...  I will send you a PM as to not spoil anything if you are still doing them.

I just noticed this!  You're giving me grief over a shadow under the eye that you can't see???  I spent hours on this, and that's the response I get!  NO CAR FOR YOU!!  HAHAHA!!

 

I'm just kidding, there are some things that I have to finish up.  Just remember, it's a work in progress, not the finished design.  There are still some shading issues I want to fix with his face / hair.  Rest assured, when I'm done, it'll be as good as I can get it.  I won't produce it if I'm not happy with the results, and I'm very picky.  I remember what you'd said you wanted to see on the car, and I have had some other ideas as well, I'll also talk to you about in PM.

LOL..  What can I say?  I suck at the art stuff for the most part, but I have an eye for detail.  I have to contribute in some way no matter how big or small.  When your finished you will be looking at him thinking...  "Damn!  He looked pissed!,  Glad Jerod was there to be an a**..!"  Car looks great though

Poor ChesterRS.  We have been going back and forth with stuff for the UltraViolet car and my ideas were good but cost him alot more work, and a bit of a delay for the forum members...lol
