Maybe a Lotus or Aston? The Evora is a really nice car... so is the Espirit. Maybe the old Aston DB5??? I'm up for nearly anything (except that DLC Jag... I've tried to tune that one, and I couldn't get anywhere with it... LOL)

There are going to be loads of different designs, so I don't really think one tune on one particular car will do it this time... The scope of this project is WAY bigger than any other community colab, so keep that in mind as well. Lots of artists and lots of different cars. Cool that you want to help!

Thats what I was thinking as well... frankly though, I personally have no problem donating 5, 10, 15, 20 tunes to this project. Given some time, and a little help from my friends I think I can supply several good tunes. I just want to help out in the only way I can.

Looks really good so far, D. You've come a long way, brother. If I was doing it, it wouldn't look anywhere close... Last time I tried to paint someone they ended up looking like Mr. PotatoHead... LOL!

D, you are off to a good  start from what I can see. My hubby is a Helena Bonham Carter fan. I didn't even think about it at the time I picked Snape...lol! I am glad you decided to paint her. I know which car he will want.

Are we doing head shots here? So far that is mostly what I see. If so, I can shave off about 200 layers which would probably be better for your layouts, wouldn't it?

The original intent as I understood it was that there would be enough artists doing work on these cars that each individual character would get their own car. So, You don't have to shave layers at all! I think we all want to see what people are capable of, so whatever you need, and however you need to do it to make it awesome, go that route! LOL

Can't wait to see the WIP pictures on Snape, Vixen. Alan Rickman is one of several British actors that I like a lot, so I'm personally looking forward to this one (as well as whom ever decides to do - er... -paint Hermione and Ginny...)

Thanks for the encouragement, there's time yet for her to turn out looking like Mr Potato head. Vixen, I'm with your hubby on Helena

I was actually going to hopefully have her done down to the waist if layers permit, so will see how it goes. Not likely to get any painting done tonight as just too knackered from work and just want to chill and not have to think about anything too much.

I think it's a marathon rather than a sprint to do a portrait any kind of justice, so will just keep plugging away when I have the time/ inclination.

 I sent MiMiC a flat (1-D) HP logo last night.  I will also do a 3D version, but I am so slow that I figured you'd have the rest of the characters done before I finished if I took that route...
