Ok, for starters just so I'm not creating unrealistic expectations, today's release is going to be very limited. The only features I intend to make public are the car list and the garage rosters. Since I do not have tune information from the garages yet, that will be a bit more time consuming process.
GTR2 METAL: Would it be right to include personal info like includeding the owners of the L.E's? Maybe you could just list the current owners selling their L.E's like a classified section.
I can create the ability to store that information, but I can't make any gaurantees for accuracy. I don't have any way of knowing when a car was sold and to whom unless the seller reports it to me. It may be worth storing the original purchasers so you have a little chain of custody. I don't know how well it would work beyond that initial sale.
Interesting concept though.
Also what about garages that don't exist anymore or cars that arn't sold anymore will they still be included just for reference and be cosidered old legends or the history of the tuning marketplace.
Once you're in the db, you stay there. I always adopt a policy of not destroying data unless I absolutely have to. That's just best practice in the DBA world.
