There is something wrong with the scenario that I race 7 days a week for 11 weeks to come in 3rd place overall and then the new season comes and I'm ranked 7th Because of someones numbers.  Then there is Sane ranked above me and he only ran 3 races. So I start off the season as a number 3 seed in division 1 with 2 of the fastest guys in the league and Devils is in division 2 with no other Division 1 opponent from last season.

FYI

i do realize what jalobo's saying...in my pesonal opinion (without being cocky or making others feel bad) I believe jalobo and dabrown (at least) should be ranked ahead of me (no offense silver or callaway or others)...I might have been faster in three races, but I would've definitely dropped in te long run.   I feel like me quitting last season screwed up the divisions and am very sorry for that.  

Please try not to take jalobo's post wrong, it sounds like it came out worse than what he meant.  He's already told me that regardless of what the divsions start off as, they will end up being what they should be...

and lastly, regardless of what happens, the league is set up great, Silver and Bismark are doing a great job preparing, and all these posts are just to discuss everything and share our thoughts, not to make it look bad...

Dont worry Zeight...... I think the guys will let us have a 2 lap head start..  er mabye they'll drive in reverse.  J/K   The stack up looks like its gunna be hairy for a couple weeks, but it will be Hella fun.

I appreciate everyones input with regards to division placement for the upcoming season.  If placement was decided from points last season, then there would be inequity.  Placement was made however based on Hot Lap times.  Everyone would agree that motor sport associations place drivers based on qualification times.  For Season 4 placement, look at Season 3 as qualification.  Jalobo, Fox and Twisted are all outstanding racers.  Jalobo is very fast, faster than Fox and Twisted, but because of the consistency those 3 drivers had last season they all finished in D1.

 

Bean, Body, and Sane were faster on race day last season.  Not for the race, but for one lap.  Placing drivers in this manner was intended to spread out drivers.  Remember we only have 3 or 4 divisions, some divisions are going to be stacked.  Based on total points this is how things would have shaken out.

Again I appreciate the dialog.  Remember that placing drivers based on hot lap times while in the race, distributes the speed more evenly.  Not necessarily the talent.
