A non-listed non-ranked driver may only challenge the bottom 20 drivers.
Please read the details and current challenges here: http://ifca.highforum.net/ifca-world-rankings-f102/

Re: IFCA World Rankings list/ Challenge!
Ok, I just want to say the more I am around it and more I think about it, this whole thing is a great idea to get competition going in FM2 again!
For starters, those who say that the rankings are flawed and are no way to truly figure out who are the top players in the world for FM2 indeed have an arguement, but you have to think about it like this...
How would you really go about getting a perfect INITAL ranking system for all the top players in FM2? There are hundreds of rankable players, and the only way to really figure out who is the best would be in a full blown tourney of sorts mixed with the cumulative totals of other variables (hotlap, tourney wins, etc...) and that is just in no way going to happen EVER. So what do you do, you take the readily avaiable information you do have (hotlap, tourney wins, CGS performance/standings, etc..) and create an INITIAL ranking for players. At that point you at least have a basis to start with and then the challenges come in to play...
People have to defend their spots in the rankings or run the risk of losing that ranking for simple inactivity with active drivers climbing the ladder as one would expect it to go. So with all the challenges already taking placed and challenges being proposed there is already a great deal of potential change to the list with all the people that are looking to advance their spots on the list...or ranking shifting due to the players that don't care to participate and eventually lose their spots.
What I'm saying is, though the system may not be perfect, it is set up with the ability to work itself out in the end and prove to be a fairly good way for top drivers to compete with one another and see where they rank up in the end.
Also, I'm not an IFCA fanboy, I haven't run in more than two IFCA races, I'm not considered a top driver by any means, and all this really doesn't affect me much, but I do think it is a great idea and ultimately good for the community and longevity of this game we all love =)

Nice, strong words there, Adequate. :) I am liking the reaction from the community towards this list which Don has poured so much time into. I am an unranked driver, and I wont be in a hurry to challenge anyone ranked 60th-80th lol, that list is the creme of the crop!

Re: IFCA World Rankings list/ Challenge!
Hey, thanks guys, you got it exactly right Adequate. This is the only way to try to do this, and is in a sense the closest thing to what everyone has always wanted and missed about FM1/FM2, i.e., we all wanted the same club feature that FM1 had, it's what really made the game so fun, and, it was based on the same sort of idea that this list is all about. "Who's #1?"
The idea is to have a ladder that everyone can be a part of that really means something. To have established rules and Race Officials that support fair and clean racing.
In the old FM1 days it was all about which club was at the top of the ladder. Today things have changed, for the first time ever it will be about which individual driver can be at the top . As a result we all will see who the real top dogs are, and get to see some excellent racing between the truly best simulation drivers in the Forza world while we're at it.
May the best driver win!

Thanks dude, I'm just the type of person that tries not to carry bias and call it as I see it...especially when it directly affects a community I'm a part of.
Man, I'm unranked as well, but that's not stopping me from challengeing the top driver I can challenge w/in the rules. Figure may as well start at the top and see what I'm made of then go from there!

Re: IFCA World Rankings list/ Challenge!
Here are the latest IFCA World Rankings challenge matches set to be completed in the next couple of days. http://ifca.highforum.net/ifca-world-rankings-f102/
#15 R2P EnZo challenges #8 SPDN Rangers (Silverstone GP)
Could be considered a main event, these two are fast! R2P EnZo handily defeated TRC GeorgiaDawg in R2 Class Corvettes at MVL reverse already, and is determined to capture the #1 position.
#16 TRC GeorgiaDawg challenges #3 V12 BackoneABS (New York)
The Dawg unmoved by his 1-2 loss to R2P EnZo is looking for bigger fish to fry.
#31 R2P CruzCntrol challenges #16 TRC Georgiadawg (Russel's viper)
The Cruz man sees what he thinks is an easy mark in the Dawg.
#53 TRC NOOB Challenges #38 TRC Solo
NOOB fears no one.
#54 R2P Xray challenges #44 R2P Blackbird
Inner club rivals?
#60 TDR Chrisupra challenges #45 VVV Headyman (Nurb)
Chris, the man who gets no respect aiming to change that with a win over this seriously fast opponent.
#75 X3R Basco challenges #64 R2P Boyracer112 (Sunset Infield)
Perhaps the fastest Frenchman in all of Forza, wants a higher rank, but Boyracer will be hard to beat.
Unranked DMR Adequate challenges #60 TDR Chrisupra (Road America R4)
Long time Forza veteran DMR Adequate, simply wants onto the World Rankings list, but he may have picked on the wrong guy.
Unranked R2P Conman challenges #74 R2P Flying Scot
Relative unknown Conman has picked the ever popular Scottsman
Unranked TDR GTDon challenges #77 TRC factory (Sat 10pm CST, MVL reversed D400 Hyundai Tucson/Tiburon )
A real serious "bad blood" grudge match here. The ubiquitous and lightly skilled GTDon tirelessly prancing from forum to forum like some happy go lucky "Forza fairy", annoyingly promoting organized racing on every possible thread he lands on, vs, one of the dark lords of Forza, the legendary TRC factory. A man who on more than one occasion has made it perfectly clear GTDon is nothing more than a thread high jacking spammer, with no driving acolades or skills to speak of. To put an end to this charlatan's flights of spamming fancy, TRC factory has seen fit to use a car/track/class that he is currently 15th in the world on! Not because he is at all worried about losing, but just for the shear pleasure of totally embarrasing this wannabe racer once and for all. (this should be good)

Hmm, there seems to be quite a bit of bias in your report there Don. First of all, Enzo won, but in all reality it could have been (and probably should have been without a late slip from me in the first race) a 2-0 win for me. All due respect to Enzo of course, but I find your opinion to be a little off base. But you're entitled to it I suppose. Second, I have no idea who CruzControl is, never met him so no idea if he would actually say that he thinks I'm a "easy mark". But just on the basis of you writing that consider that challenge declined as well. Besides, I have allready accepted one challenge, now I'm looking to make one. Hopefully Backone will accept but if not another will be issued. Third, you challenged Factory. You are unranked, he picks car and class. Did we need a novel about dark lords and spammers and the car and track the challenged saw fit to pick?

(this should be good) Not sure who this gtdon fella is, never heard of him until these recent posts, but you could lay off factory some with the harsh tones. He is well respected in TRC and in the Forza community, and doesnt have much darkness about him at all. I have known him for years and I consider him one of my "true" friends. I predict a victory by factory nevertheless.

Re: IFCA World Rankings list/ Challenge!
So I am #15, you are #23. I really don't see the difference. Tough track to pass on in these 'missle' cars, the winner will be whoever doesn't make any mistakes. Are tires and fuel going to be on? Will the lobby be set to random grid order? I don't race collisions very often, so is rubbin' racin'? Or do we make every effort to not touch cars. Important considerations. I just did 10 laps with blademeisterTRC, who is #3 on this track, and he beat me by 5 seconds, with a best lap at 1:39.0xx for him, and 1:39.3xx for me. I caught the grass twice on the right hander before the left hand sweeper at the end of the lap, and tapped the pit wall once. Should be a very close race I think.

Re: IFCA World Rankings list/ Challenge!
Guys guys! Please, many of you are missing the fun of this! The post was not a flame job by any stretch, and was meant as entertainment as well as information. No one (me) is being too harsh on poor old factory, or anyone else, honest. This post was mostly a joke, tongue in cheek stuff, and silly. It's all in good fun you see, did I not call myself a "Forza fairy"? C'mon guys lighten up a little.
Yes, there is going to be a serious match, an official match, between two sim drivers who have never raced each other before, and are not good friends. One is a really good driver, and onea so so driver (me). The rules are, sim tire, limited damage, collisions on, equal turns at pole position, 3 races, 10 laps each, best of 3 wins the match, and no intentional touching, i.e., clean racing, none of that CGS rough stuff. You knock a guy off the track, you wait for him to recover his position.
Some have asked, "who is this GTDon guy, never heard of him?" I've been around since the first game some 4 years ago now. If you haven't heard of me, then you are probably the new guy. lol
I started a little thing called the "Forza World Championship" as a way to extend the life of FM1 until FM2 came out. It was mostly for those drivers who were sick of boring hot lapping and wanted to start organized racing. At that time I promoted the FWC as much as I could, and some folks especially fast hot lappers like my friend TRC factory didn't take too kindly to it, said I was "spamming." I disagreed with his opinion, and we went back and forth a few times, and became "arch enemies" (joking!)
When FM2 came out a couple of us got together to create an organization for all Forza clubs called the IFCA (International Forza Club Association), you may have seen us mentioned once or twice in the T10 Pitpass Reports.
TRC factory is well respected both here and in the halls of the IFCA. Yes, he and I have been at odds over something stupid for a very long time, but I have no hard feelings about it. You have to understand, I do this for fun, it's a hobby, it's cool and interesting people, it's competition, it's skill, Forza is LIFE! (uh, that's going a little too far lol)
Anyway boys, let's just have some fun, okay? It should be an exciting match, even if I do lose. :)
Respectfully yours,
TDR GTDon
PS see you Saturday oh dark master! Muahahahahaha! (just a JOKE!) lol

Re: IFCA World Rankings list/ Challenge!
I am not taking this all that seriously to be honest. The only reason I even accepted the challenge was because I knew it would create internet hype. My 15 minutes of fame if you will. I think you gravely underestimate your chances, or rather overestimate mine. I am a hot lapper, and not a very good one at that. I don't even like Forza 2, and only play it to try and help TRC in the weekly HLC's. I would rather be playing Halo, which I also suck at, but I enjoy considerably more than FM2. I am in no way a good racer. I have purposely avoided collisions on racing most of my life because I suck at it. I may be able to turn a relatively rapid lap once in a while, on my 200th lap or so, but I am not consistant at all. Never claimed I was. I heard that there are odds on this race in Vegas, you should all make your bets now. Could make a fortune if the right guy wins, since GT Don is downplaying his racing ability and the bookies are putting the odds in my favour. I am accepting bribes at this time, I would love to buy a PS3.......
