This was me in a standard spec TT from the March '08 DLC Car Pack. My direct competitor in the race was the Merc C32, directly behind me.
The C32 was *much* faster in a straight line but I knew the TT went around corners so much better.
Coming off the long start/finish straight of Sunset Infield, the C32 had sailed past me so I decided not to brake for the first corner, just come off the gas...
I went right around the outside of the C32 and continued, almost washing out onto the shoulder but, squirming under heavy braking into the next corner, I managed to keep it together, just missing the side hoarding but taking a couple of corner markers with me - hence the flying '3'.
