    ncasolo:
I know Jed and x42x pretty well and I'm not too worried about the integrity of how they race.  Jed left SPDN on principal because they were slam drafting.  That speaks to character right there.  There's at least .2 left in my lap time, and I'm never this close to a number 1 time.  I'll share our build at the end of the week.

i think that using the term they is slightly exagerrated when you are talkin of spdn it was 2 guys who were rightly slammed but then its easy to tar the brush.

Re: HLC Wk 16 - Happy New Year from New York

I don't want to rehash an old arguement but everything I say and do represents TRC and opinions are formed about the club I represent based on my individual actions.  The same for every other member of any car club wearing the tag in their name.  Each club takes on that "responsibility" by choosing who they recruit.  TRC tries very hard to recruit members with integrity and I think our reputation is reflective of that (I could be wrong).  While it may have been 2 members of SPDN that were doing that last I heard they weren't kicked out for doing it, which would be step one to prove to the community that you don't condone that type of action (which is also why I give Jed props for his decision).  Rather by not removing them from the club that speaks volumes.

Geodoors I'll let you get the last word in, but like I said I don't want to rehash an old debate.  After your reply all others will be removed as this is a week 16 HLC discussion.

The HLC's have been a blast and really added to the continued playability.

I 100% agree. I actually "completed" the game (i.e. 1000 achievement points) a couple months ago, but between various online race series and the HLC, I still play this game constantly.

    +1

I've come in with an alright time at 87th, if I get time to give it another go I'll be looking to try and hit about 50th.

What's the end time of this challenge? Since it was put up late, it seems that it runs until the 7th. Is there going to be a new HLC starting today like normal or is the schedule screwed up now?

That's a good question. Noone has really said if there will be a gap between the next challenge or not.

To be honest Landin has been on vacation so I don't particularly know.

Week 17 should be S-998 Zonda's on Mugello.  The backOneABS challenge.

We ran one for Greek so it's time to run one for the guy he challenged.

I've been playing Forza 2 for 4 months now and I'm now getting into the hotlap challenges. When I first checked out last weeks challenge, I was going to pass since I didn't know the King Cobra...let alone it backwards. I got to say now I loved that challenge. I spent many hours with 5 different cars and setups trying to tame that beast. I'm hooked on these challenges. I have to let you know though ...that I'm at a major disadvantage due to the fact my disk has a glitch adding anywhere from 2 to 14 seconds onto my times.

Zonda's on Mugello, now that sounds like fun.  If I have to go around NY one more time I'll lose my mind.

Why are we doing mugello again? We have already done it, it's to early in this series to start rerunning tracks.Huh? [:^)]

Im pretty sure the second series hasn't begun yet these are just random challenges, season 2 starts next week if not not mistaken.

    Zonda's on mugello sound great!

I love the snake tracks thats why I wanted the challenge on there. They are fun onve you memorise the tracks and know which lines to take. They are easy once you learn King Cobra and King Cobra Reverse you know all the little snake tracks as they make up the king cobra.
