Damn, gonna miss the Challenge and the Saleen (unless I could get a canadian friend to move his game around the US).


Anyway, I'm reserving my judgment on the lce until I know what the supply chain is or the marketing and manufacturing departments were thinking, which could be never. 


BTW, that was some pretty racing, Che. Those rotaries really were taking over the sound! And that replay view of that white Evo was amazing.

To those of you complaining the video "takes forever to load and when it does it looks like a slide show..." - you do understand how to download a video, yes?! Right click on the link and choose "Save Target As..." to download the video to your computer. Once it's done downloading then browse on your computer to wherever you saved it to, double click on it and away you go.

Now if your computer still can't keep up with just a video file that's playing off the hard drive....then it's time to get a new computer. Your computer is stone-age if it can't keep up with a video playing off your hard drive.

Concerning the LCE I feel sorry for the US fans but as it was mentionned I prefer having the game on May 29th  instead of having to wait a full week on this forum watching "Awesome" "Amazing" "Look at my paint job" ...
Marketing guys are not gamers or fans. You can't believe what they can do. May I suggest you to remember what Atari did with Test Drive Unlimited ? 40$ US = 70€ in Europe ? Nothing different on both versions. Most of the gamers believed DLC will be free for Europe. No, same price. No morality, No justice. Just marketing ...
So .. May I suggest the marketing departement that gamers are a Worldwide community now with the net. Forget continents, oceans, kilometers. Think worldwide.
I'm not ironic and hope the bonus cars will be on the US Marketplace soon for you all.

Upon further viewing, I must say this new video is probably about the best overall package I've ever seen or heard from any racing game. The graphics are phenomenal, the sound is incredible, the AI looks like it is just that...AI. Notice when Che is trying to overtake the Evo around the last turn on the track on the next to last lap, the AI Evo driver seemed to notice Che making an inside run so the Evo then adjusts its racing line and scoots right to cut him off and stay in the lead. Now that's AI. And kudos the Che for making it a very clean and well run race.

So once again, that video is absolutely fantastic Che and the Turn 10 gang! Love it! Now would you just give us the damn demo already...

I'm sure they are both NTSC but somthing I just thought of. Is the Canadian version French (French Canadian) ? or a better way to ask this I guess, is the game content the same.

I feel for the US not getting the LCE but think about us in Europe that have to wait an extra week to get the game while watching you all describe to us how great it is.

I would happily change my pre-order from the LCE version to standard one just to get the game on the 29th May.

Here's my bet (and for once I would bet money on this and I never do that!) is that after the main release of Forza 2 they will release the LCE in the US in July. Collector editions always come out after the main release in the US. It's because those that will pre-order are the same ones that will buy the LCE, and in the US they know those who want the LCE will buy 2 copies this way. So they up their sales. I am well aware of what Che said about no LCE in US and he's simply passing on what marketing told him. I would still bet there would be LCE in US soon after the regular release...

I enjoyed the video and am looking forward to the demo! Good driving Che! I like what you said about some official contests with no prizes! LOL

Nice update, Che.  Cool race - loved your wheedwacker with the sport exhaust. ;)  Man those things sound n-a-s-t-y.  The 350Z sounded - well, just like a 350Z! :)  Can't WAIT to try out the superchargers to see how the special rig that the sound guys made worked out.

Great video Che, and awesome driving. Everytime it showed a camera of the Mitsu, you would always poke your car out and give him the notice that your there >:)

Streaming video, pretty please. 720p makes my computer cry, and a 200Mb video makes the download fairies angry at me.

Agree with you on the Achievements, the scoreboard top times are for the racing masters, the achievement points for people getting their way through the game.

Has anyone noticed the totally diferent lighting? It accually looks decent now, but the sound work is a little odd. When a car goes to a certain distant it just cuts out the engine sound like a barrier.

That's not true. I have bought several LCE on launch day. Gears LCE I got 1 day before the official launch, Oblivion LCE on launch day, Perfect Dark LCE on launch day, Halo 2 LCE on launch. As a matter of fact, I can't think of any LCE that didn't come out the exact same day as the regular edition. Name some for me.

Did anyone notice that this video actually is 29fps?
I understand that replays are 30fps so when encoded @ 29fps I can see some motion jitter, not smooth.
Not a big deal but just noticed.
Anyway great video, and looking forward the demo!

By the way, is it the video stuttering or the game is producing the stuttering? Very minor but hope it won't affect too much while drifting in the game.
