This is for anyone who may beleive that it is NOT an E30

E24 M6



Here is a great picture of the M5, M6 and M3 side by side


As you can examine, the only hood+Bumper design that matches the Pitpass pic is the E30 M3's

The M6 is to "Triangular" as well as the Hood bump actually continues on past the lid of the hood - As well as the M6's Hood is hinged as a normal car - where the E30 is "backwards"

The M5's Hood Bump doesn't come to a "point" and stays wide and somewhat symmetrical down the bonnet to the end of the hood. As well as it has a Black rubber cover on the "Top" of the bumper outline - which cannot be seen in the pitpass pic

The M3's Hood Bump slims down towards the end of the bonnet - as well you can begin to see the flaring of the Fenders. There is also no Black bumper rubber as the M5 has.

Clearly it's an M3 - if it's not, then I have been fooled and T10 is missing some very crucial details between the cars.

I'll say it.

I have no interest in any point to point track, Kaido included.

There I feel better.

Though I hope Blue Mountain, Alpine Ring and Road America would return eventually, even if only in Forza 3 (looks like Road America, great post Snjper).

Whatever track it is I hope it won't be dominated by all horsepower cars like Motegi is.

Finally, hopefully Kaido will make a return in Forza 3 as a mini 'Ring and not a point to point race and also a drag strip. Then the community will have nothing but sunshine and roses for Turn 10 and whinning will be banished forever .

Thought this might help..

Took some shots of Road America (Forza 1)..

Cover car is taken on the "New" track. so that means the track has a rumble strip. A few tracks and guesses I've seen.. Really don't think a drag strip would have rumbles (its possible tho).. Rio doesn't have rumble strips. Blue Mountain has blue and yellow rumbles. Alpine Ring doesn't ever have the patch of concrete on the outside of the rumbles.

Wouldn't be the first time im wrong but I believe these pic's solves the question on which track it is.

I was hoping I wasn't the only one who busted out their old dusty copy of the OG Forza.

I had to put a few laps down on RA, the old Forza feels so archaic! I can't wait to get my Vette's on this track... I'm willing to put money down that we get a Firebird of some-sort, and I hope to god it's not smokey and the bandit... Give me my 69' Ram Air II please... or an 02' WS6!

Give me a F**kin break!!!!!!   This is a video game and it is meant to give you a chance to do something or drive something that otherwise you would not be able to do in real life, like drive a real life 2 million dollar race car that unless you are either a billionare or one of the few select people on earth that get to drive these things for a living, you will only ever be able to watch it on TV or from the side of the track... These requests are like if they came out with a game that you could have sex with any woman or women on earth, would you say please oh please Turn 10 can we have the abbility to beat off in the next DLC?  

What would be cool is a spec series with identical cars just with different bodies and multiple different paint schemes.. Like a DTM series with the new C class DTM race car and the new Audi A4 DTM race car and all of the different liveries, but with identical performance with only the ability for minor set up changes, such as gearing and arrow.                                                                 

Sorry, I know everyone has their own taste and personality, but give us all a break.

P.S. Call of Duty 4, Can you please give us a sling shot in the next DLC! You know, that same one that David used against Goliath...

LOL So the PT Cruiser is in the game and its something anyone can drive, even everyday. This game isnt all about high end cars, its about cars in general.

Dont quite get how it would make more sense mate seeing as the last DLC was a real one but I suppose we all have our favourites from Forza...personally i'm keeping my fingers crossed for basically any of the old tracks minus Road America & Tokyo as they were my least favourite tracks from the original...one is too bland the other is a recipe for the idiots that spoil races with collisions on to cause even more carnage but I doubt they've had the time to do a night time track anyway so we can cross that one off I suppose.

And has it been confirmed that that beemer is a 3series & if not why is everyone assuming it is? Looks way more like an old 8 series to my tired old eyes. Either way you'll be getting my pittance (500 pts for the lot...good call T10 ) again for all the available content as for all its constant glitches & problems I still always find myself sticking F2 back in the disc tray when I get sick of COD4 (which isn't very often)...

 

...but if that troublesome layer shifting could be sorted it'd be the other way round...

Yeah, seriously, this is about cars, not exotic cars.  You're looking for PGR4.  Enjoy your DBR-9 on the Nurburgring in the snow.  It's fun for about 3 minutes.

And that's an E30 M3.  Hands down, don't bother to argue, it just is.

I'd really love if the track was Circ de la Sarthe though.

you say it yourself, everyone do have differing tastes, just because you enjoy having no personality at all, driving identical R class cars, does not mean everyone here does.
R Class is the most boring class in the game, pre made cars,
if we would be able to make our own R class cars however...
Once at U999, get the option to buy a "Racing Upgrade" and get the car to be a R class car, wings, widebody and all that, and the ability to paint it to your own liking, then... R class might be more individual and less bland, you'd get nutcases in R class PT Cruisers, and it'd be awesome.

I'm also all for more average cars, Exotic cars you get in EVERY SINGLE OTHER game ever made, what make Forza 2 fun, is the fact you can take this daily driver, maybe swap in a huge monster engine, then slap on a huge turbo that sucks in kittens and puppies as you drive, and make a unsuspecting race car, someting not from the average racing game.

I understand that everyone has differing tastes, but you have to admit that there have been some pretty obscure requests in the past.. Like, there is a great little track just outside of Taledo that is just awesome, it is called Wallakutchie falls Sub-International Raceway.. Come on, does that really make more sense then Spa, Monaco, La Sarthe, Etc.

I do agree with your idea about being able to turn any car into an R-class car. If you remember in the original GT you could do exactly that.. I simply look for a better driving experience then what I am able to achieve in my Honda Element..

P.S. I really do enjoy racing real world tracks with real world race cars, but mostly I just love to piss people off.....

I'm hoping we at least get the '08 Viper and the 2007 Lamborghini LP640.

When Che hinted that the muscle car was much requested, my first thought was the 2009 Chevy Camaro.

Personally, I'd rather see some more good MOPARs in the game, even a 1977 Trans Am SE over the '09 Camaro.

I think the track will be Road America. Eh, I never really liked Road America, so I'm not sure If I'll get the track or not.

. Wow ROTORKING, while you might have a valid point, that's still a little harsh. lol At least they know we all would love to see that track back. So we've made some kind of progress.

It may be harsh but sweet talking and handing over money to M$ for the DLC just proves to them that even tho we dont get what we want we are still the poor bastards who still put bread and butter on their table. They know that we will constantly hand money over so the more tracks they release which we dont want the more money they make because they know that the die hard fans will stick around till the end when  they finally get the tracks they want.

By the time that has happened they will be retiring or made enough money to stop keep on going. theres not alot of games with more than 7 DLC so I believe that they are only gonna give DLC whilst the novelty of it is around when the novelty ends the game will end only to be still played by the fans of what could of and what should of.

As for progress the only people who are progressing is T10 in their pockets

Yes I hate being beat by a 900 hp+ Corvette, 1000hp+ Charger/ Barracca  or 60's Chevy

Mayby I'm just bitter since the 997 GT3 RS has no shot to set any competitive times in any class on any track and just use the muscle cars to vent my frustration with the PI system sometimes. Any track where you will get beat by a muscle car on I have no interest in racing online against, i.e. Motegi.

Though I would rather put a complete suspension/ brakes and wheels (not chromed or blinged out) before adding a exhaust, intake or turbo to my real like car, so mayby I'm just weird.

i guess it didnt take to much to make road america cause they had all the info from forza 1 and they just needed to bring all that to forza 2.  now saying it didnt cost anything but it would be cheaper than flying out to do the whole track with nothing to go off of.
