As for the McLaren F1 GT, it isn't the R-class car. It is the 1997 McLaren F1 GT (road going car), I'm sure. http://www.mclarenautomotive.com/cars/f1gt.htm

The F1 GTR (McLaren in FM1) isn't a production car (neither is the F1 GT, since there were only 3, but I'm sure this list is road cars only).

I'm so happy to see this! The F1 GT is my all time favorite car. I wish I could see a pic of it though. I would have liked to have seen the F1 and F1 LM, but this will do.

I hate to say this, but it seems like they just got the models from FM, and PGR3 (2005 M3).

I don't see the point of having the Mercedes CLK55, when CLK63 is out there kicking ass (Wait, they got it from FM 1), like Mercedes C32, and yes the C55 is out and C63 is on the way.  Sure I like to see legendary cars like McLaren F1, and CLK-GTR coming back but other models which are still in production, we should see the newer ones.  I'm gonna be honest with you guys, I'm not happy with that list and I'm a big time European car fan.  It seems like Turn10 like EA, took the shortcut to cut the cost.  So, Sad...

yea i was expecting the Zonda F and CCX to be left out. But there is the CC8S,CCR,CCX for koenigsegg and C12,C12S, F for Pagani. So why have the weakest of both manufacturers?

Edit: The Zonda C12 just doesnt quite cut it with 394 hp, even if it can be modified. I dont mean to complain tho bcuz im sure Forza 2 will still be my favorite game of 2007, but im just theres no new Pagani or Koenigsegg. Maybe download content

Definetly the M5 both the E35 and E60 should be in the line up. Hopfully they will be offered as DLC. I'd also would like to see the Bugatti Veyron, but I don't know if they can even get close enough to one to be able to do the testing on it, in addition to getting the licencing.

Sure, the list is fit for a simulator that's aiming to the top. However I just don't find it imaginitive enough. Let's face it, we're all car enthousiasts and we would always complain for greater numbers, but I can't stop feeling disappointed. Where is Alfa Romeo & BMW ???
And would it hurt to see these cars?

It's awesome that they added in Vaxhauls and SEAT's....... SEAT's are pretty fast racing cars (and FWD)......

The ONLY thing wrong w/ the Euro list is the lack of a new Koenigsegg, but I usually don't drive those kinds of cars anyways so, to me, no biggie!

Can't wait for the next lists...... especially the Asian list...... C'mon KIA's! C'mon Nissan's! C'mon Subaru's! Heck with just having only the best of the best Asian cars... throw in a Subaru Legacy! Throw in a Nissan Altima! Throw in a KIA Optima V6! Throw in a Hyundai Lantra! More slow(er) cars please!!!!

Even if none of those cars are included.... I am sure that the lists will be great. Can't wait!

Where are Alfa Rome cars? WHERE????

I want Alfa Romeo cars...

Where is ordinary affordable cars like: (I hate all the super cars)!

Alfa Romeo 159 and 147, Bmw 3-series (from 2005-2007), 1-series and 5-series, Audi A3 sportsback, peugeot 407, new Saab 9-3 and 9-5, Volvo V50, amazon, new S80(2006/2007) and new C30, VW passat and Eos, Jaguar x and s-type and what about some not affordable SUV`s like Volvo XC90, Bmw X3; X5 and Porsche cayenne... and so on...

I must say I was very disappointed to see all the super cars, almost every driving games have them! Is this really the cars people will see in a REAL driving simulator!? The Gran turisimo series is the only place where a real petrol head can tune and drive many ordinary production cars that they can afford.

Why no Renault?!

They have a great history and of the European manufacturers they are making the most exciting 'hot' models. There are all the old school Clio Williams Renault, Cup Clios and the Mégane Renaultsport 230 Renault F1.

Such a shame.

Still hope for the Japanese list, hopefully it will be full of Hachi's, FCs and Silvias, with some lovely Onevias and 180s :D

I'm happy with the increased diversity (yay for the Elan and best GTI), but I don't think it's gone far enough if that makes sense.  Sure there'll always be complaining (hell, GT4 with 700+ cars had complaints), but I think quite a few people think there's been a few glaring omissions.

Aston (where's the Vantage??)

Audi (quattro guys, cmon)

BMW (loads of potential wasted here)

mini (there is only one mini....)

Renault (I'm talking the quick Clios and Meganes)

Volvo (seriously, when are we gonna get more than 1 or 2 cars per game from them)
