Speed Demon2488:the new corvette isnt a hatchback. they classify a hatchback as a car that the window and rear lift up. on the corvette only the glass goes up. the vette is classified as a sports car like the slr. when u open up a civic si, ford focus, and chevy aveo5 u will understand.and a fastback is a car where the window only lifts up. like the vette mainly.
By that defentiton my 350z is a hatchback....yet its a sports car....GASP!!!! Its only a hatchback! lol
Seriously....the hatch is more usable for storage and really shouldnt be THAT big a deal to people lol
The older vettes had the same rear window/body lift gate opening making them hatchbacks as well
