Actually imageshack can resize images also. Easyer.

I'm trying this and everything works fine up to step 4.  I'm replying to the last message on the photo's competition forum, entering the url as explained and nothing else, hitting post and my message is popping up with no picture???

Any idea what's going wrong?

can any one tell me how to get custom images in FM2

You can't.
Everything You see on car's photos is made in livery editor. Belive me or not, this is true.

i use exactly the same code for one image, and i worked???

I'm really frustrated as I've spent 4 hours today getting pics of all my paint jobs, then uploading them all to my PC, then hosting them all, then typing out a massive long description for all of them, only to have no working pics, HELP PLEASE!!!

OK so now none of it works, and no-one can see what i typed as code as the spaces made no difference, AHHHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGRRGHHHH!!!!

you shouldn't use a space around the image url (in between the "...")

it should be like this in html: <a href="http://url.com/image.jpg><img src="http://url.com/image_thumb.jpg" border="0"></a>

it should be like this in normal forumcode:
[ur l="http://url.com/image.jpg"][im g]http://url.com/image_thumb.jpg"[/img][/url]

where [ur l= should be [url= and [im g] should be [img].

its cool i've sorted it, i wasn't putting the spaces in, i was just trying to do that to show you the code i used, to check it was ok, but it was because i was copying it from a word document (about 40 images plus descriptions as its my car collection for sale) and it was copying some weird formatting with it.

converted it to unformatted text and it worked a charm, thanks for the help though,

Question!!? You guys at Forza.net are telling all of us to make the photos 50% size of the original. But that makes the photo ( 640 X 360 ) which is too small for your photo contest!! So why are you telling us this? I've been making my photos at 50% and have been having others tell me my photos arent the right size.. So what % do you sugest then?

yes... your email has nothing to do with uploading pics, but you need to log on with the email you use on xbox when you log into forza.net

to get the right resolution for the photoshop contest (800x450) you should resize it to ( 450/720 = 0.625 ) 62,5%. I'll add it to the tutorial :)
