What happens after 5000 posts?

I guess I'm a bit confused as to what it means by "contributer".  When I checked my profile it says post rank 64 which would lead me to believe I'm looking at 5 pips/bars or what not.  Don't particularly care either way, but I was curious since that's how I understand the second part of it.

Then you keyboard explode, followed by screen, then motherboard (HDD is left alone)

So it force you to get a life.

You have 448 according to when I clicked your liscense, but either way you should be VIP, unless there is an error in the table.  Can anyone else confirm being above 427 and not getting VIP?  I know it took me a few hours to move up in class after having a certain number of posts, but it seems you have been above it for a few days.  The only other thing I can think of is possible server problems.  It may be related to why Turn 10 was unable to get the Weekly PPR on the front page this week, but not sure.  I will adjust the first page if I can confirm that the info in the first post is wrong.
