GT1 and GT2 are RWD cars only, GT3 is 2WD spec cars. Spec cars vary from season to season.

FERS things First, I always say. NO I DONT, I rarely say that if ever, but seriously, FERS is TOP NOTCH, close competition at its best. Especially the Spec Series racing, it quite simply has to be some of the funnest racing to be had in Forza2 , hands down.

This is an offshoot of another series that was started that is/was similar in the respect to the different class rules, but Fox has taken it to the next level and really worked on developing the classes to a more user friendly standard, and has been the driving force behind the concept ever since he has become involved. Hats off to Fox for continuing and building up/ taking over the reigns of his own Group.

We have many new things that we are going to be adding in the future, in addition to the standard things we already offer. So keep watching this thread and check out Fox's YahooGroupsHomePage , for all the details.

The one thing that I think is going to be cool, is the Tuning garage racing series. Kind of like an IROC type thing aka GT3, or SpecRacingSeries.
We have had much success and a great response to the first Spec AE86 series of racing. Yes that lowly little Toyota Sprinter Trueno, has be an absolute blast to try and blast around so many different tracks , and for the most part, we have had some very good and clean racers competing.
Fox's Tuning Garage sponsored races, will be quite simply , you go to the AH and get your racecar from the approved Tuner and thats your racecar for the next endurance race(s) that we run. The Tuners will be helping out with credits and Prize CARS for the winners, and sometimes even the guy who finished last has been known to get cars and a million or so credits, just for completing the race.

BLAEZA TUNING INC. has stepped up to the plate for the first TM sponsored spec race series, and we will be using the DEVASTATINGLY GREAT  tuned Subaru22B that Blaeza has put together. If you for some unknown reason have not heard about this car or Blaeza then follow the link below.

A real quick note on Blaeza , his cars are wickedly EASY to drive CRAZY fast.
Hes been tuning cars for awhile now , but only recently started his own garage. All of his cars Ive driven to date , have been EXCEPTIONAL. He is Still in the top 3 in BrutherSuperiors first crazytuning contest (its still going on ) out of 20+entrants. His proto-type R32 has got #1s-3s ALL OVER the LBs in the hands of THE JED.

You never quite know what you are going to get when you race, but one thing for certain is you will have fun, make some new ForzaFriends , and learn to keep an eye out for not just the other racers , but your fuel / tires / damage all come into play when you race 50+ laps. Sometimes its not the fastest driver, but the one who drives the smartest race...............like we always say to finish FERS, first you have to Finish...................................hope to see you on the track !!!

We are putting up a paint contest. It will be posted in the Fantasy Liverly thread, this will be the best FERS logo. This design will ONLY be placed on cars that are given to the race winners (and the paint will be LOCKED when the car is given to the winner).

After Season 1 of GT3 is finished we are putting furture seasons on tempary hold! I have not had time recently to participate and several other members have communicated the same. Future post will be made when FERS resumes it's official seasons. until then I recomend everyone involved please contiune to race eachother using the specs and cars available. We will resume ASAP.

New Seasons for FERS are being asked to resume. I'm glad to hear from past and prospective members that they want to race again! There are going to be changes though.

1. - There will be official Sign up Sheets -via threads on FM.net in the Forums under tournaments
       a. These signups will have 20 slots per class

2. There will be a requirement of two moderators for each class
      a. This will insure that a room is open for participants

3. Further rules and regs will be posted when complete changes are finalized (will be posting more in the comming weeks)

FERS has closed shop. It has been re-orginized as Socks Off Racing. Several key members from FERS descided to make a name change (to allow more event types) but has also made many improvements to the League. Check out the site. You never know what will be done next.
