But no, some people get pissy and complain about others mechanical abilitys Hmm

Oh, forgive me, I do apologise for not jumping on the bandwagon. Here, let me rectify my mistake...

    How was that?

I guess I get bored of stereotypical forum nerds jumping on the new guy for no reason other than a vain attempt to make their sad existence seem that little bit better.

Oh, and yeah that is my Miata, though the spec is a little different since that shot was taken.

You say you have an e30.  Well, what model e30?  And with an "M" engine.  What "M" engine?  And i have to agree with the above poster  "do you honestly expect a videogame to feel like driving a real car?"

somehow i want to think that the OP will see your gamertag and ask you what color your car is...

    I hope he doesn't

What color IS your car SchwarzBMW? lol

i feel sorry for you if your engine takes an hour to change the plugs...

You've missed my point entirely there. My plugs take less than 2 mins to change, it's only a 4cyl engine and the HT leads/plug wells are ridiculously easy to access.

As for changing a muffler in 20mins, what takes you so long? A full system (manifold, mid-section/silencer, muffler) only comprises 4-6 bolts, plus 8 for the manifold, and I'm no expert mechanic. The only awkward part are the hangers, which aren't awkward if you have a screw-driver.

What ever gets you through the day, i could care less.

And my car is a black 87 325es for those who my be wondering.  Nothing special, just a ETA that gets me from point A to point B.

I don't really see the need to jump all over the guy, his point was simple enough. He was simply stating that the in-game car reacts nothing like the real car, which it would if it was a proper simulator.

I agree with you alot so I am going to stop now...just for the recordSmile

I was glad to see the E30 chassis is in this game, I haven't even seen one yet....but I plan to buy one and set it up like the Prodrive rally car. One of the most exciting Tarmac rally machines to watch for sure!!

nice miata btw. did you ever think of the small block chevy conversion for it? im not sure if whatever league or bracket you race in is that open with that much of a change but ive seen some nice v8 miatas. my neighbor across the street has a 200X not sure of the year exactly but its supercharged and the thing keeps up with my talon through 3rd which is an acheivment for that little thing. oh and changing plugs on a jeep grand cherokee is a pain, no spark plug wires, just one long strip under all the coolant lines and electric harnesses out the ass. on the bmw note, i wish you could turbo the m3 e46 because i like making 1000rwhp with the stock engine...hpf for the win

I've thought about it for a while, and would love to do it, but it would have to be one of the newer generation LS engines. My driving style suits high-rpm engines, I find torquier cars more of a handful in the bends, and the almost-constant gear changes unsettle the weight. I bought an SR20 when I first picked the Miata up with the intention of building it up, then swapping it in. But, I decided against it for the above reason and sold the SR on. For now, I'm contemplating an F20, or an N/A build of the B6, but it's an expensive road. My other option at the moment is to sell up, buy a Van Diemen (single seater, open wheeled, bike engined) and something to tow it with.

Btw, you can turbo the E46. I forget the name, but there's a ridiculously fast one that practically lives at the Nurburgring.
