This is how the RTR cars look. my old cars on the AH were not tuned, these new entries have a standard Feuerdog V5.11a tune.

Colors do vary on the RTR cars. Paints are unlocked. 

 If you see a design that I have done on my AE86 Design page,that is not taken, and you want it. I will put the car on the auction house BUT the design will be locked, and you will need to let me know your number in advance so it can be applied accordingly.

#18 is yours.  Official qualifying is on the 27th at 8:15pm EST... if we have a large number of entires then we might do some early on Saturday, or start early sunday.

 We will be running warm-up/practice races as often as possible. normally I'm the one who starts the rooms up, but others are welcome to start practice races too. We will probably be running some more tonight.

and also i wasnt aware that we would have to tune our own cars...im a painter not a tuner...can i pay someone to get a tune or does it have to be my own?

I can just about get in the 51's with an untuned car, i wish i could tune cars :( lol

I paint, have you checked out my designs? I can do some descent tuning, I'm not the best tuner... but I'm running only .5-.7 or so slower than the fastest guys which a fair portion is driving skill diffrence. you also might want to look for the Feuerdog tuning calc. it's  also very helpful with tuning.

 I also sent you a friend request tonight. With a little tuning you'll probably be up there racing for Pole. :)     See you on LIVE

Hey, it's Ein242 here...

After running some trial runs, ui can safely say that this race is going to be an absolute bloodbath. It's just sooooo easy to make a mistake, and even tiny mistakes can throw off your line for the whole course. It's completely nuts, and I cant wait!

i agree with that though ^ ...the car seems to want to do it's own thing most of the time and it is incredibly easy to slide it or spin it lol...if contact is on then there could be some unhappy people racing...

nightfox, i got you're FR and accepted it this morning, il check out the calc. thing and see if it helps me...also, i know you paint the cars, but GOV sent me mine last night and i painted a bit more on it and put '18' (my number on the side) is that ok?...it's still got pretty much everything you had on the car, in the same place too :)

you are now #18 I added you to the roster.

as far as the tuning goes, if fox hasnt got you sorted out, just get in a room with us anytime and we will tune your car right there on the spot.
pretty much all the guys will share their base tunes/builds with any of the FMGTCS members, the tweeks are usually just drivers preference/style changes.

as far as the cars being a handful, yes they can be LOL , but only in the beginning, they are tameable lil pandas. our best driver is only a few seconds behind the top LB spots in Aclass on Tsukuba, and that is saying ALOT for this RWD low powered beastie.

Dont give up hope though , we are adding more cars to the mix and will be releasing them soon. just remember what this series is about :

Non-LB cars that meet Fox's class specs so cheating is eliminated/minimized , and so that the cars are competitive to provide close side by side racing, leaving it up to drivers skills for the most part.
additionally this class tends to be easier on the credits for the builds, so we can give away some cars from time to time too, to increase the FMGTCS roster.

As the number of racers increased we will simply have more rooms open with drivers of similar laps in each room, that will tighten up the competition even more making it that much more fun. THAT is what its all about :
                       FMGTCS=FUN  ( we just spell it different, thats all )

I can just barely make the benchmark in this car untuned....so since I have not a single clue how to tune a car, this might be one I end up having to sit out :(

right, well i just did a 51.086...which is all that i can get from my untuned trueno...if i push it further then i either end up skidding or i end up on the grass...

but on average id say id be running at about 52-53 seconds which might be ok for the race...but i really need some tunes for it to see what i can get out of the car when it's at its best...

JK and Full, we got until the following sunday until actual race time so thats like 9+days to practice. just gift your cars back to me and I will put on my base tune and gift em back to you . send em friday night cause my garage is @ max capacity right now for our ( CTTuning ) new release. you should have em back in your garage shortly thereafter and we will definitely be having some practice sessions and can help you then as well.

Worst case scenario is that we have two rooms going on race day and you can race in the "slow" room with me and we can fight it out for last place, cuz thats where i finished last time ( crash on lap two of 50 and then I slowly faded back in the pack from there ) LOL

dont worry guys if you can run consistent laps that is more important than 1 fast one anytime ( unless its a hotlap challenge of course ) we run our races for as close to 45-60 mins as possible , so you gotta first finish to finish first !

just had a thought...im in the UK and im guessing the mojority of you guys are in the US...sooo it might be kinda hard for me to race with you guys, or has this been accounted for?

hey everyone , by now maybe youve heard it or not, but as of yesterday I got the FORZA FREEZE once again and cant get past the start screen.

that means no forza for now and probably will result in another lost profile.THIS SUCKS BIG TIME.

it happened while i was trying to auction cars , and it locked up on me . SOOOOOOO im forzaless for now.

JK we got a few guys over across the pond and we are trying to get some more so you guys can race at a reasonable time , but for now we can still practice together from time to time as its just like the race anyhow . we do some 25 + 50 lappers before the official race .

if you want to recruit and head up the UK divisions , go right ahead . You would probably get help from SPDNMatio612 if you want to take on the role. hes a great guy from germany and speaks english better than me.

we should probably find out where everyone is from when they sign up on the FMGTCS site so we can group people together for race times.

Ill talk to fox and see what we can come up with.

 GOV that sucks that you lost your profile again. hopefully you have enough stuff in the auction house it wasn't a total loss.

Coments about the track:
                 Suzuka East is a very tight track, this track has only a handful of usable lines, Yes over agressive driving can lead to severe accidents, BUT remember this is a 50 lap race, there are several good places to overtake, and I imagine with this course, pressure from opposing drivers can and will lead to mistakes which will allow you to pass. The trick is be patient. Also Pit stragety will play a large part in this race. You will have to pit alteast once, due to tire wear, maybe need to pit twice depending on your driving style, Tuning etc.

My current fastest time is now a 0:49:608

 The Feuerdog tune it pretty good, I am capable of running 0:50:500 +/- .3sec  that is without any gear or areo modification. This tune is on all the rental cars on the auction house, that are sold by me. With a little tuning to  your specific driving style, it is very possible you will be able to get close to touching the 0:49:900 mark. My advice is if I send you an invite please join the room, it will give you practice with other drivers on the course at the same time. These rooms are in Exbition so it will not hurt your Rank. The Season Races however are run in the Career room, so make sure your skills are brushed up from practice races.


*NOTE* there will be a large number of possible entrants this time, so I am expecting to have 2 rooms open. I will be talking to GOV about the split, but it will be either the fastest 8 in one room, and the next fastest 8 in the next... etc etc.  or it will have the people split accordingly, like fastest in qualifying will be in one room, while the second fastest will be in another room. and it will continue to alternate accodringly.

Hey guys hope everyone had fun as I was profiless, but I got a new one now . HAHAHAHA so IM BACK.... . .   . . .. just not in time to race.

anyhow I built a new Toy ae86 that is B695 and it is @2000ish(on the in game race for career that includes A/S/U etc )  on the leaderboards overall on the track you all just ran , times were in the low 51s with me driving it LOL. thats @199hp too ! cant wait to add another 100hp and see where it goes.

I havent heard anything back from T10 yet so I dont know when Ill be back up fully. until then if you need to get ahold of me , my new GT is:
