gutted for you pansy  Sad [:(]  . never a nice thing to happen. i always sweat when doing the ah shuffle dealing with dlc cars. covering it in a solid coloured vinyl is the way forward though.

Re: [Pansy Paint] SEAT Leon Supercup 'Havok Physics' Announcement

You can avoid the AH alltogether if you save all the sides as vinyl groups, apply them to a car that can be gifted, say a Mini ( they don't have to fit or line up at all ) then reverse the process on the other end. Save all the sides as vinyl groups off the Mini, then apply them to the car that they were meant for. No worries about sniping at all, just repositioning the groups on the other end.

yeah that definitely blows...especially since that design is pretty sick. unfortunately theres always those people out there that have no regard for integrity. good luck in the future...

Re: [Pansy Paint] SEAT Leon Supercup 'Havok Physics' Announcement

sad to hear Graham, hope it won´t happen to you or anyone here in the future again...

masking is best way we have right now but if you don´t set the price higher then the actual car cost it could still happen somenone else buys it and then finds out what design is on it. some little risk stays but best way atm, so thank you drizze!

    Back from work!

I usually do cover them, but even then I've had cars sniped because of my gamertag (Thankfully locked - 10k presents to people).

It's really nice to see this overwhelming sympathy, especially after spending time in the Tuning Marketplace. Thank you everybody Smile [:)]

Re: [Pansy Paint] SEAT Leon Supercup 'Havok Physics' Announcement

well... did the guy spam it graham?... cause you could probably ask him not to sell it on the AH unlocked... but from what i hear, this guy might not be the type to do that... anyway...  you ever gonna send me the car you own me...

Re: [Pansy Paint] SEAT Leon Supercup 'Havok Physics' Announcement

This really is bad and i really feel for you.

Maybe the way forward to prevent this happening is to over-paint cars then transfer on the AH for lots of credits say 5 mil or even 10 mil then it just looks like a credit transfer. As official sellers have heaps of credits anyway this shouldn't be a problem.

He probably mentioned what was said above about putting the design onto a gifted car. That would be my guess, but I dont paint so I have no clue. LOL.
