Most of these comments are just well far from the idea behind these awesome vids by the Forza team.  They are not at all meant to give you full knowledge to perfect the track in question but to just give you a rough idea as to what the basic racing line is and just basically helping the people who dont know about that stuff.

I mean as if they gonna give us the ideal line and braking points for us to just copy, they want to see us perfecting that ourselves, they would be defeating ther object of making the game wouldnt they ?

Nice vids for people who need guidance, well done T10.

P.S. Thats just like showing us how to beat a game they spent so long and hard in creating. LoL.

    +1 - Good point!

There's no way to show every possible line for each Class and type of cars in the game. Even the suggested line in the game is not accurate for everyone.

The best guide is what it is now with general instructions. All forza racers can use this guide to help them find their best line for whatever car they are driving.

The Hot Lap Leaderboard racers already have their line, so watch their replays to get an idea where you can improve. I doubt it that they would give us their markers for braking points. lol

Just this week, while practicing for the IFCA Spec Series Tournament, I found two spots for braking points that has helped me get around two of my hardest corners on Sebring Long. I don't care for this track that much, because of the sun glare on the track that makes it difficult for me to see the turns early. These braking points would be for my C Class Lexus IS 300 PI 550 with stock trans.

Turn 10, give us more Track Guides.

    Thx for help

    grts Mr Hoax

Road America is Downloadable Track. So you have to go buy microsoft points and then purchase the track on XBOX Live.
Its right where all the car packs are aswell.
Road America is an AWESOME track. I would absolutly suggest getting the track before you indulge on the spicy car packs.

    I hope that helps!

yes thank you very much ;-)

*This is not meant to be insulting*

In my opinion it's a nice video and I'm sure it will help some people but I think a lot of us would rather see time spent on more tracks rather than videos and/or tutorials.

Thanks for your feedback, although I'm not sure how Landin and I can actually spend our time to create more tracks since, y'know, we're community managers and not track artists. Smile [:)]

Well I wasn't 100% sure exactly who made the video but that's really besides the point. It's very great. I didn't want to come off as rude but I guess it didn't matter how I worded it, I still did.

We all fully appreciate the time and support yourself and Landin invest into the community; really, we do. We're also very lucky to be able to have a weekly update/report on events and things to come. This is becoming a pretty big community and a lot of us try to help any way that we can. I answer questions newcomers have. I've made and am constantly adding to a drifting questions guide. I started making forum signatures for several users. I've offered to moderate the drifting forum, and I try to respect everyone in the community. I know that's not much but I'm trying.

You both are great at what you do, I'm just pointing out what I think a majority of this community needs/wants. You're right, neither of you design or develop cars/tracks/content for the game. That's not your job and I'm aware of that. So knowing this, how do our suggestions/concerns reach the people who do design and develop content for the game?

How can we get their attention?... =)

How could they give us braking points anyways? They have a braking line in the game already. Which I cant even use because for example on Suzuka my 350z brakes WAYYYY later that my Boss 429.

Re: The Turn 10 Road America Track Guide Discussion

I'd like to see more of them. The writing is put across nicely however on the videos it would look more professional if the driver actually made the perfect corner described, rather than miss the apexs. I liked the generalisation regardless of the car you would drive. I'd like to see more. Well done guys.

Re: The Turn 10 Road America Track Guide Discussion

Very good, I like the idea and the effort put in is very much appreciated. A little plus would be to also have a downloadable and printable PDF if you guys had time to do a design layout of it using the text and photos you have.

Good job, have fun doing the Ring!

Re: The Turn 10 Road America Track Guide Discussion

    Oh finally! Road America!

I knew most of this stuff but you're never to old to learn.

Che, the links for the video's are incompatitable with Mozilla Firefox. Is there a way to fix that?

    Oh and i quote :

Try to use the entire track surface, while making sure not to run too close to the inside rumble strip as this will have a negative impact on your exit from Turn 10.

Re: The Turn 10 Road America Track Guide Discussion

Che, thanks for the track guide. I downloaded Road America when it first came out, and I agree that it's a great track. Unfortunately, I almost never race on it.

I would love to get in more track time on Road America, but that's sadly not possible. Road America is not raced that often online and it's not integrated with Career Mode or Arcade Mode in any way. If there was an update patch that added Road America and other DLC into the rest of the game, I would definitely race on it more often.

Re: The Turn 10 Road America Track Guide Discussion

I like the tutorial, but I think it would beneficial to people if you could get some of the tuners to give some tips in these tutorials.

As many of you have undoubtedly noticed, most of the braking zones coming out of the longer straights are downhill.  If you increase the rear ride height and soften the front springs, your car will nose dive under heavy braking which prevents lift.  This will help reduce your braking distances, allowing you to cut as much as a full tenth of second on each of these corners.

Re: The Turn 10 Road America Track Guide Discussion

That is very helpful of you PaleRider, not many people let out secrets like that.

P.S   Just wondering if there is anyone out there reading this who doeas help the likes of me learn how to setup a car on forza so you taking posotive steps forward and not losing time.  reason I ask this is because for me, not sure about others but I use a default setup quite often and yet still get some nice times that get me into Gold Tourney rooms and also quite high on the scoreboards, then I look at the top time and think, No Way, how have they got that time, 3 bloomin seconds faster, even with 3 seconds faster above me I still get in the top 500 or something, I use a wheel and really feel like I cant get anymore out of it. Therefore the setup must gain you that amount of time. Obviously understandable with them older beefier faster cars.
I would just love to spend a bit of time in private lobby with someone who can help me, not tell me setups but to just guide me on what to consider, basically just so I can setup my car myself in future. I feel if I can learn this I can acheive much better times.

Thanks to all for taking their time to read my long post. LoL !!!!
