Try Quicktime...

That's what most of my videos play though, in my browser and on my desktop. I also use a Mac but that shouldn't matter. Quicktime is optimized for both.

how do i get the video 'converted' to quicktime? when i click on the vid link it automatically goes to windows meida player and i get a little message that says i need to change my proxy settings but i changed them and it still doesnt work, and if i do the help thing that doesnt tell me crap. so i still didnt see the videos.

You don't need to convert anything to Quicktime. Just make Quicktime your default movie player for your browser.

It's been a while since I've used Windows personally but you should check out "Internet Options" in your "control panel" I believe, and see if you can change it there.

You might also want to go to the Divx website and grab the Divx codecs since a lot of higher quality videos require Divx.

i can watch it but this computer is also as old as dirt and as slow as ***, so ill be watchin one vid in about half an hour, really its buffering as we speak and ive already watched about 3 sec, and from there it is 30% done, and it started from 0 about 5 min ago.

Thanks same to you. I'm very pleased about this guide less because I needed badly help but more because this will encourage more people to drift. Plus it is proof that you want to support the drift community.

I did hear a rumor about FM3 recently and since it is christmas I'll release my wish list for the FM future:

 

• Separated lobbies so people can find other drifter more easyliy by joining a drift lobby
• replay share system because a lap time says a lot about a racer but only a video can tell about a drifter. I want to make my own cool drift videos and I bet I'm not alone.
• more replay cams. Most cams in FM capture the beauty of the ride but rarley the drift.
• matt colors for cars and vinyls. What they have to do with drifting? Well nothing but the belong to my wish list for FM! 
• possibility to add more information to cars in the AH. So people know: "oh look this car was tuned to drift and has a cool design instead of a tuned to drift lettering"

The separated lobby thing could be fixed by bringing back the ability to make Custom names for your lobby from Forza 1.

wow, that was very informitive. It saves me all the guess work, with the tuning. I could have used this for Forza 1, I spent hours tuning my cars so they would drift right.

I THINK THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA 4 A DRIFT GUIDE BUT I THINK YOU SHOOD MAKE A FREE PACK PACK 4 FORZA WITH NEW CARS AND DRIFT TRACKS 4  0 MICROSOFT POINTS  BECAUSE  SOME PEOPLE CANT GET ANY POINTS
